Are there any plans to reduce voting fee?  With current rate it is quite unprofitable to vote under 1000LSK balance - and it is about 2000USD what is not little amount of money..
BTW I am curious how much LISKs aren't used for voting...   Wink

I am looking for signature campaign Wink pm me

1000LSK balance will earn you a reward of 7+ LSK a month if you just spend 2 LSK voting for GDT, Sherwood, and a few Independents. $2000 for 1000 LSK gives you a $14 return each month which is better than most bank accounts. Really we need more delegates like Sherwood that are forging. Sherwood takes up 6 votes and only has about 3-4 that are forging. 4 delegates is about ~1/25th of the 101 forging delegates. If all the delegates were all like sherwood you would be earning 100+ lisk a month for voting with 1000LSK. That's why I only use 2 LSK to vote and refuse to vote for any delegate/pool sharing very little rewards.

Yes it's true that voting for a delegate sharing 20% who is forging will yield you more rewards than voting for a delegate who would share 70% who isn't in a forging position. A lot of people have that mindset, and it causes those 20% delegates stay in a forging position. If those voters changed their ways... their 1000LSK could have double the impact. (1000 LSK voting power removed from a delegate sharing 20% and 1000 LSK voting power moved to a delegate sharing 70%)

I'm hoping the system changes in the future. Maybe they will allow for more delegates, or maybe they will make delegates sit out after X turns unless they share a certain amount. Either way, if you have 1000LSK definitely vote. I think it's worth spending 2 LSK to vote as long as you have at least 300LSK (Currently $600 investment). Keep in mind if you believe in LSK, now is the time to be accumulating. Imagine your 7 LSK return from voting rewards when LSK is back up to even half of its ATH.

Not a chance of changing...the LISK whales forging are locked in...any attempt to change they would dump LISK and blow the price down by 80%...so it just is
not gonna happen ...at least not at $1.92 LISK vs $30 LISK IMHO...it is a unicorn day dream....indeed it probably will lead to less lisk delegates forging and more
consolidation and less payouts...again IMHO...the LISK whales forging have all the power and few rules.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Please don't regret too much with missed opportunities. In crypto, there are so many chances, from time to time, for crypto investors, traders to take chances and get richer. The key point is don't get panic and FOMO because such over emotionally controlled trading activities will mostly lead to losses. And, we all should control our emotions as good as possible when we joined crypto. LISK has appeared in my Watch List and in my portfolio over last 9 months. Currently, low price of LISK is good to accumulate it, in my opinion.

Thanks, but I think investment in Lisk is a bit more risky investment than bank deposit.
But ok - how can I find what is most efective way to choose delegates to get some LSK from voting?

So after 3 years of development it is at the pre-alpha stage Cheesy Well, better than nothing I suppose. So how long at pre-alpha before the alpha is released? Then how long at alpha before the beta is released? Then the RC? Then the RC v2 ... ...

Alpha version will be released with the 1.7 core version, as announced by the team that version will be actually the 2.0. Now lisk is working on the 1.6 release but still on testnet, for about one week. It's still unknown when it'll be launched on mainnet, usually after few weeks if won't be found any bug in the testnet version. And then the 1.6 will be deployed on mainnet until that the 1.7 (2.0) will be gold.

I know why your pray will never be answered!

I think $2 is a low price for a great platform... but that is not bad at all... it is time to collect and fill your portfolio with LISK...

sell Huh
for me is time to buy more LISK and HODL it , on the last years LISK $35
this might happen again in the future

I'm hoping it gets back up to $10 in the next 2 years. The progress IMHO is not what it should be. The delegate mafia for forging is another concern
and JavaScrypt seems to be on the way out (some programmer told me) though I maybe just being messed with (I don't program)

Not looking good. I have 'mostly' ICO Lisk...so it is a kinda 'meh' for me..but would have hated to be the folk who bought even at $10 (i did some groan)

the horror...

we will see chump or champ I guess
