Hello everyone as the title says ^ Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
i stored online.. but think need create wallet on pc if you've been wearing a lot of authentication in your online wallet like I did in blockchain is using SMS verification each will be logged. I think it's pretty safe and you do not need to make a lot of wallets again It's also have a risky though. If you forget bring your phone or lost your phone, you can't open your online bitcoin wallet. Better using other authentication imo. i think having the phone is quite a good choice. There can be a backup code in case the phone lose and can change the verification code into another phone. But I think phone wallet is not much that risky, it will be the same as our wallet for notes/cash-currency in our pocket. Its lose will be the same as the lose of our fiat wallet, and a phone on its lose can be easily deactivated/locked. There is also a risk for using phone wallet. It's like, if you lose your phone or forget bring your phone. But phone wallet is also have a advantage. For me i prefer using blockchain.

Maybe this is a bold statement here, but I keep all my eggs in one basket, Electrum under Linux, I own the seed, even if I lose my password I can still recover my money with the seed. I don't know how this can be hacked without anyone knowing the seed or password, so far it hasn't and I have hopes it will remain this way.

I use blockchain, but only for small amounts of money. I think that the best method to store higher amount of money is paper print as long as you don't spill it with your morning cofee haha I think the use of paper wallet anyone who finds your wallet paper if you lose it. they can easily redeem bitcoin in there. I prefer to use blockchain and wallet desktop until now I have never stolen or hacked in my wallet, very safe

Most people store their Bitcoins in a online wallets and that is very good. But it will of course also be more used and that is very good. But some people are also storing their Bitcoin at their own PC because they dont trust the wallets.

Yes as said online wallets has got some additional features than desktop or offline wallets. But my opinion is also to have a offline wallet so that it will be much safe than sitting in a third party storage.

It depend of peoples paranoya Storing coins online only increases risk of loss due to theft aka "hackers attack", but doesn't prejudging anything Cold staorage has its own weak points, but still is way better.
