Definitely, that is why bitcoin is so popular now in illegal activities because we can transact without a limit, and with bitcoin we cannot be trace if we are transacting in illegal activities as we are living in an anonymous world. That is the exact reason as to why I always mix the coins that I withdraw from any exchange. I even mix the coins that I withdraw from BTC-E even though I am not verified with my private data there. I do everything to avoid the government from potentially getting any information about me and my holdings.

A very  good precautionary measure of yours  there  pal.  Im doing the  same thing too  even  though  i dont posses  too  much bitcoin  but i do  have a  habit  on  mixing    my bitcoin in able to  avoid  problems  regarding  on privacy  because  these  mixing   thigns would surely help you  out not  to be traced  easily especially to those  who  hold  huge volumes  of bitcoin, as we all know  government  might  made  a step  regarding with  this taxations. Unless you are living in some kind of police state then gambling with bitcoin is not bound to bring a lot of attention to you, besides online gambling is in a little bit of a gray area and when you add bitcoin to the mix things become even murkier.

The problem here is, okay suppose gambling is illegal in his country but the thing is that he should be aware about it and follow it. The sites will not distinguish that who is from which country, they can also use proxy if they want. So, it is people doing illegal things not sites nor bitcoins.
