Yup, I agree on this, In any currencies, can be used for illegal things. Yes, many people keep their black money In dollar because the price is always high and it is very stable. Like that Bitcoin also used. Yes, it depends on how the people will use this Bitcoin. And what purpose people are using Bitcoin. It's really nothing of a new story seeing bitcoins used for illegal trades or used in crimes.

How is it obvious that criminals in America wont use euros to pay for drugs? All types of money are used for "illegal things" is my point, but that topic with Bitcoin typically blows up a lot more (As you can see from this thread) much more so than fiat money which has been going on forever.

One thing i had learned on the hard way were, scammers will always make a way to scam you, some projects from scammers use paypal, to make they looks like legit, with bitcoin is for them a new tool to take our money without mercy and no worries at all. How many of us here had invested atleast once at hyip?

Its true, no matter what criminals can find a way to use anything for illegal purposes. Careful not to ignore it like its not worth acknowledging, by being aware we can heighten our own security against criminals. Im sure many brush aside the fact that they could be potential targets for these people, and dont take the precautions in securing their accounts with 2FA or email confirmation.

Yes, bitcoin is being used for so many illegal activities that is why here in our country sooner or later, transaction using bitcoins will be  monitored or will be governed by law.  Actually I have seen an article regarding the use of bitcoins in illegal activities specially in sportbetting. Because the players can sabotage the game just to win a lot of money in bitcoins. Not only in sportsbetting but also by transacting to buy Illegal drugs which is strictly prohibited.

Fiat money and bitcoin are two other things, fiat money can be located and the criminal can be arrested. because these are centralized and traceable. but in case of bitcoin its decentralized and can not be traceable because it has anonymous.

I think it's not going to be too long before Bitcoin gets regulated worldwide. I imagine that soon all exchanges will require that users verify their identities before they're able to trade.
Coinbase and Bitstamp already have verification procedures in place but most of the smaller ones still allow people to use their services anonymously. The EU has already started down that road:

Yes bitcoin is used on illegal activities and im not surprise by it. Bitcoin is used cause bitcoin transaction can be anonymously sent, No proof will be get if a conflict happen. It is often use on darknet/deepweb/blackmarket.But bitcoi  can use in good things too. By donating on a charity anonymously too
