Is it me or did BADecker stopped? Did we win gentlemen?
de-programming takes years.... He cannot get out of his cause & effect non argument, yet. I think he already gave up on his world complexity, entropy, nothing complex comes from less complex type of non arguments. He still equates Atheism with immorality. He struggles with the definition of Atheism. He probably thinks all Atheists have exactly the same world view on other, non-religious subjects. Like one Indian lawyer once said: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.Winning doesn't have to do with what anyone says. Winning has to do with the truth, and who remains living for all time.

The things you call truth, I call delusion de·lu·sion dəˈlo͞oZHən/ noun noun: delusion; plural noun: delusions
an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder. "the delusion of being watched" the action of deluding someone or the state of being deluded. "what a capacity television has for delusion" synonyms: misapprehension, misconception, misunderstanding, mistake, error, misinterpretation, misconstruction, misbelief; fallacy, illusion, fantasy "was her belief in his fidelity just a delusion?"

"what a capacity television has for delusion" synonyms: misapprehension, misconception, misunderstanding, mistake, error, misinterpretation, misconstruction, misbelief; fallacy, illusion, fantasy "was her belief in his fidelity just a delusion?" A truly delusional person does not know he/she is delusional. All we can hope is a small time window when his delusions will subside, then maybe he can see the reality as it is, even if it is for a brief moment. But then again, he might be far too gone to ever realize that he is in fact delusional. Sounds similar to serial killers... the vast majority of serial killers actually believe they are good people doing good deeds (often God's work)... delusional... I bet those dudes who flew airplanes into The World Trade Center thought they were good people doing God's work too... Religion is a mental disorder which makes "good" people do "evil" things, all the while thinking they are "the good guys"... because... God

I came across a few old quotes about religion...
A belief which leaves no place for doubt is not a belief; it is a superstition. -José Bergamín
You’re basically killing each other to see who’s got the better imaginary friend. -Blaise Pascal
If God has made us in his image, we have returned him the favor. -Voltaire

Hmm.... I don't want to crash your dreams but I was born in the city of Blaise Pascal so I know a thing or two about him and he was definitely a Christian and a very zealot one. I don't imagine him saying something like this...

Pascal never said this, Richard Jeni did: http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/256963-you-re-basically-killing-each-other-to-see-who-s-got-the

I was also a bit uncertain about Voltaire to be honest... But seems this one is right. http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/640344-if-god-has-made-us-in-his-image-we-have

Moloch - I think you have something to answer for. I said I came across some quotes, not that I fact-checked them... I see plenty of sources attributing the quote to either man, and given that Blaise Pascal lived 300 years before Richard Jeni, I'd go with Pascal... I really don't care who said it first... it's a good quote

Though being a good scientist, he expressed himself publicly numerous times over religion, with for example his famous bet, saying we should all be religious people.
