There is a real chance that IOTA may overtake ETH in market cap within 3-6 months of launch. Sure, Ethereum is a great implementation, but IOTA is the only machine to machine currency that can process micro transaction  without a feel at speeds and not hog processing power.

IOTA at even a what I consider conservative $50 million means that the prices here are at over 75% discounted.

Its hard to buy a smaller amount via genesis block change, as mostly bigger investors are selling now, and their genesis chunks are pretty big ones. Smaller ones will keep their investment I suppose...

You would have to buy via NXT assets I suppose.
Then of course it depends on what you mean by "smaller amount". Everyone has his own definition
