"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

For testing purposes I need some transactions to be done this week. If the seller PMs me with his seed and address where to send the iotas to, I could do the escrow. By knowing the seed I'll be able to repeat the transaction right before the release if the rollback happens.

I'll let you know if the deal happens. My offer is actual for the next 24 hours.

One more chance to safely do it with escrow! The train is about to leave!

My offer is still standing: 343,489 IOTA for sale with a tx done directly by CfB's escrow. The minimum price for the whole lot is 15 BTC.

If you are interested in this deal, I request that you please send me your proposal preferably in this thread (no PM, please, as I don't log in here often) or directly by e-mail to cryptoBanqueiro(at)hotmail.com

The first proposal will have the deal (first come first served), but no proposals of less than the minimum price will be considered.

The deadline to my offer is while iota being traded in exchanges, only if CfB's escrow is possible.

Thank you

UPDATE

Calling all my buyers

Come-from-Beyond has generously offered to send tx's on my behalf so that my buyers can get their IOTA pre-GUI wallet release.

You can generate your IOTA address by going to collect.iotatoken.com and following steps 1-3. PM me your IOTA address bearing in mind I may need extra authentication (via BTC microtx and/or email as originally stated)

You have approx till late Saturday/Sunday before this fast-track opportunity expires. I will try to get a fixed time.

If you do not proceed you will get your IOTA as originally planned, so do not worry if you see this late.

regards (and thanks CfB),
CH

I am very skeptical about the protocol of iota. CIYAM says that IOTA is not written very clean.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1398969.msg14219113#msg14219113

I think there are a high risk that IOTA does not work. Maybe Microsoft has not even looked at the code.

Here are software developers who can say more about the java code of iota?

Thank you

You're out of the loop: CIYAM is a troll. He's a chronic alcoholic who stole 50 btc and blamed his wife, he offered me the job to lead his entire CIYAM project in 2014 which I decline when I realized how insane he is, then he tried to get me to 'kill Nxt' with him, when I obviously refused that he had a meltdown that almost made his own paid devs quit his project. Virtually every.single.thing he says is pure lies and pathetic attempts at sabotaging successful projects.

Just ignore him, he doesn't deserve attention.

CIYAM says hardcoding a port <1024 is bad security wise. He is not a Java dev as far as I know. Cfb says it's necessary because it makes testing a lot easier, and it's only for the reference implementation. In the final, non reference client there won't be a hardcoded port.

Thats all there is to the discussion. It has nothing to do with code not written very clean.

Please please do not delegate your ability to gain knowledge to an authority (neither ciaym nor cfb/iotatoken), use your own brain instead.
