CfB published the details of sending IOTA's:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1216479.msg14241272#msg14241272

it is not so terrible, I think.
And some perl script what I tried to run with succeed (IRI-0.8.0 needed):
https://github.com/ifinta/IOTAstrip see trytx.pl.

please consider IOTA is in beta phase only... use it with caution.

I am patient, I was just curious. I do not speak English and I missed the post of CFB for transfers under test.

very good news if GUI is near.

No, there is not a public block explorer yet. It will be available when IOTA will be officially released.

Offering 30,000 IOTA for 1 BTC, escrow by yassin54 as long as you and he agree to the terms:

By buying a 30K IOU for IOTA from me, you are taking part in the same risk I took part in when I sent BTC to the crowdsale address. This means in the unlikely event IOTA is never released in a working state, has serious technical flaws, or any other unforeseen circumstances result in the token being valueless or near valueless, I will be paid the 1 BTC so long as I have made every effort possible to send the 30,000 IOTA to your IOTA address.

If need be I can confirm I own my genesis IOTA address in private with yassin54.

Price has been fluctuating all over the place. I was in IRC the other day and saw BBIOTA being traded for 0.001 each.

procedure is :

Step 1 - Buyer sent btc in my wallet

step 2 - when iota is stable, seller sent IOTA

step 3 - when all is confirmed buyer and selller, i sent Btc for seller

(all confirmation via PM Smiley )

Don't forget this warning " It is possible that the seller does not respect the sale after the IOTA Release "

By buying IOTA here, you are taking part in the same risk investors took part in when they sent BTC to the crowdsale address. So if IOTA is never released in a working state you will loose your money.

Only the BTC will be sent to my address not the IOTA. And again : Every agreements between the buyer and the seller will be done via PM because it will be easier for me  Smiley

was that the price asked by sellers or were there actually deals closed with buyers trading IOTA at the rate of 1 IOTA=0.001 BTC?
