I think the buyers who got their Iotas at 1000 satoshis where lucky. Previous trades had an average price tag of maybe little over 2000 satoshis, so over 50% discount nice.  
Also I think Iota will trade way over 1000 satoshis once on exhanges, so also in this respect 1000 satoshis was really cheap price imo. Congratulations to the buyers!  

I agree, people  who bought for 1000/ 2000 sat are still to be considered early investors, they got their Iota cheap.

Yes. Beta launch is soon. Hopefully everything goes smooth and the tangle and dag tech is proven to work. Then all the time and energy can be put to establishing more deals with companies and other use cases for Iota.
I actually have a feeling that everyone who buys under 10k satoshis will see a massive roi within 2 years but maybe just me and my optimism.   Anyways it's very interesting to finally see someone coming up with a completely new tech and way of doing transactions. It will be very interesting to follow how this new tech develops and what kind of use cases it offers  

The whole 2016 year is the year of early adopters of IOTA  

Crypto projects are where the Internet was in 1993 still. It's all 1440 baud modems and dialup so far. Look at the Bitcoin confirmation times, block size, and node requirements. There is no reasonable hardware that can run that in a industrial application.
