According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Just my feelings Price will be whatever the market determines, businesses are wrapping up security and final testing now, if all goes well then soon Rubies will be used in many more places. If we announce them then it's safe to consider these trusted parties, while it's impossible to guarantee we have done our very best vetting we could, and those who will launch are already deeply invested in Rubies and it's future. So the likelihood of them scamming is extremely low (or non-existent) unless they are crazy and just like throwing away money

I just found this thread and love the idea. But I'm a little confused.
The OP says that for every 1BTC wagered in the past on betterbets, we get 20rubies. I checked my BB account have have wagered a little over 11BTC, but the "Bet-mining rubies earned" says 0. How do I 'claim' the 220 rubies I earned from previous bets? Thanks to anyone who can help.

They should already be credited on your account, make sure to change the "coin to bet with" to Rubies or you will not see them in your balance until then. PM me your user name if you still have problems and we will check the account.

I asked them the same question they worried about centralized mining and too much focus on Betterbets so idk maybe community can get some kind of pool together. Or when more businesses launch Rubies may be chances there. I understand their point on it for dispersion of staking.

Give each person an address, stake/merge as needed for each individual, allow people to pull out when they want.

I'm saying that based on my "total wager" statistics, I should have had 220 and instead I had over 6x that amount. Was wondering if there was any reason for that.

They had random giveaways as well, so they are probably just related to that.

Probably livecoin.net to get bulk coins or ccex if you are patient for dumps. Livecoin seems more geared for larger traders min buy order 100 Rubies.

I used ccex and was able to figure out the interface, set up an account, and get everything sold in like 10 minutes. If you are looking for a small amount I still have a couple hundred I'll sell @ 100 per .01 BTC.
