I'm running a p2pool node for helping the share chain alive. I think if the node is active, it will automatically become a seed for the others.

On a totally different topic I haven't heard back from Vircurex, so we need to email them a bunch to tell them to update their wallet.  Email customerservice@vircurex.com otherwise people who are trading unaware on Vircurex will lose their coins when they attempt to send between Cryptopia and Vircurex.

vircurex does not update their wallets anymore... If a wallet needs an update, they just delist the coin. This has happened a few times now, last one was ANC

I am ok with Vircurex delisting TRC.  Cryptopia has been working great right now, and there are tons of other exchanges we can get added to.

We are about 10k blocks away from the hard fork!  I have 75% .9.12.1 wallet peers!

Mandatory Wallet Update!!!


A hard fork will be happening on block 833,000.  This will enable merge mining and Dark Gravity Wave difficulty readjustment algorithm.

The code is now, and forever located at https://github.com/clockuniverse/terracoin and moving forward all changes will be done on this repository.  Open issues on there if you have any.

A 32-bit Windows version of the wallet is available here: https://github.com/clockuniverse/terracoin/releases

The 32-bit Windows version works perfectly with 64-bit Windows.

This is a mandatory update to move Terracoin into the present.  Since this is such an old block chain we will have a number of people who are unaware that this is happening.  Please inform everyone immediately that this is happening.

I have had my node up for a day or two right now I have 20 connections of the 20 only 4 are version 9.12.1 the other 16 connections are older versions of the wallet.  I fear that not as many wallets as you may think have been updated.  We need to really get the word out there.

I know you recently started a Terracoin twitter account.  Try following and tweeting as many mining pools (even if they arent hosting a terracoin pool atm) and services like @NiceHashMining, @miningrigrental, @iSpacePools etc.  I've seen them in the past retweet important coin info to their own customers maybe return the favor tweet them too. It will be time consuming but do this on facebook and reddit as well.

@clockuniverse glad to see you followed through with bringing TRC up to date merged mining is def the future.
