I voted for bittrex.

Although I would like to see TRC back on btc-e, I think it is better to first gain some traction elsewhere.

BTC-e delisted terracoin on their own, so they should also decide by themselves to relist it, when time has come...


BTW: Great wallet - works flawlessly for me.

It will be a good idea if trc will able to get listed inside trex it has wide venue to attract more investors good luck dev let see how far it will go.

This will be a tiered giveaway starting with Legendary/Hero Members, moving down to Sr. members, etc..

Newbie and Jr. Members are not eligible for this particular giveaway. If you are suspected of cheating or using multiple accounts you will receive a whopping 0 TRC.

Been playing around with the thought of creating an exchange from scratch. It was for the sake of supporting DVC (Devcoin) but if I have the time and will to create it, I'll definitely add TRC too.
At the moment, I have several projects, among creating buy-sell-bots and then also work + hobbies + family, so there is not so much time.

That would be a good idea. It is never a bad thing to have more exchanges. Do you have the technical know how ? If so the you should surely go ahead. You can make alot of btc off the fees. Though it will need to be big but don't give up you can do it if you keep trying and never give up and rememeber patience is everything.

We don't want anyone to shill for Terracoin.  I think there is some confusion about the giveaway because of the terms of this give away.  When dealing with cryptocurrencies it is easy to get jaded and cynical about the whole process of a give away, so we may have made it sound overly harsh or demanding.  It isn't that.

We just want people to spread the word that Terracoin is alive and well.

Fixed.  terracoin.info doesn't need a certificate so use http (I must have been on autopilot when I was typing).

If one can make gains, I guess it is in TRC . I mean, this coin is under development again. I bet most of the coins are lost due to people thinking it went worthless . If we just could make our way to Poloniex at some point, the value could 20-fold quite fast

The long term goal is to replace Litecoin as the decimal for BTC.  

There is a lot more to do then just get TRC added to other exchanges.  We need to get more transactions and as I said in another post we need to work on getting two transactions per block.  We need to find sites that will add TRC as a place to spend our money instead of just holding TRC.  Which brings me to the news...

I looked into about 15 or 20 gambling sites and only the shady ones accept altcoins.  If you know of any non-shady gambling sites which will accept altcoins please post on here.

I have started submitting TRC to more exchanges.  Here is an update on how it is going:
Alcurex – Not sure how to submit a coin - Anyone know?
Bittrex – Waiting for identity verification
BTC-E – Emailed!
NovaExchange – Exchange isn't working - https://novaexchange.com/markets/ - Getting a 505 error.
Poloniex – Submitted! (This time for real)

Once TRC has been submitted to all of the sites we will concentrate on the vote winner (currently Bittrex) first.

Help!

We need the community's help to find sites that will possibly accept TRC.  Please post on here with sites and ideas about how to get that working.

Just to be clear - Rules for Giveaway

There is a tiered system to the giveaway in favor of more senior members of bitcointalk.  If you post something showing you are helping spread the word about TRC being alive, well, and growing you can get 500 TRC.  Each date below shows when each type of bitcointalk member is eligible for the prize.  After each of the dates you can still get the prize if you are above that member type.  So for example Legendary/Hero members can always get the prize until we run out of TRC, since 10/20 has passed.  You can only win once and if your account is too new or an obvious sock puppet you can't win the prize.  We currently have 4 winners and 18k TRC left to give away.  Thanks!  Feel free to post any questions or concerns!!

EDIT: New Exchange News

BTC-E says they won't discuss which coins are being added or removed from their site.  I had a feeling there may have been a language issue. (removing from voting list)
Poloniex's coin add page seems to be broken.  Does anyone have a contact over there?
Bittrex is having an issue with my account and they have escalated it to their next tier of tech support.
Alcurex - Still wondering how to submit a new coin....Anyone know?
