 Do we still have some kind of marketing roadmap? I know its all about implementing DASH's-decentgov to make decisions right now, but we even have marketing specialist  .. I think major tasks in this regard is to get more international translations. I would prioritize Chinese, Japanese and Korean translations.

We don't really have a marketing road map right now.  Getting volunteer translators is definitely a goal.

Any suggestions for getting the word out about Terracoin are welcome!

Remember though all money is being put towards implementing DASH's code.

First thanks for clockuniverse for commitment in project.
I made polish ANN but in general polish board, not in altcoins (i wrote to moderator to move it to correct place - I'll give a link when it's done).
I invested a little and looking to invest more when masternodes and governmental runs up. So can You estimate when it may be?
I like the idea with 1k masternode - it may give extra boost for community in the future.

I hope all team go throughout these tough times and after this first milestone things will go robust

It wasn't took long to translate this post I offer myself to translate the website etc. in the future.
I think that devs need these tips to develop product. So focus on them now.

We are working on the code now.  Once the code is done we are going to test it for probably one and a half months.  Last time I rushed the hard fork and it turned into a disaster, so I don't want to make that mistake again.

It just dawned on me that I didn't respond to this part of your post.

We want to have it so that the masternodes need to have 10,000 Terracoin in your wallet for each masternode.  That amount will drop by 1,000 Terracoin per month until it gets to 1,000 Terracoin.  We aren't sure if we can do this yet, but that is what we want.

The reasoning behind this is that we don't want a whale to be able to spam the masternodes right off the bat and ruin the voting.

We don't want to keep it at 10,000 Terracoin forever because Terracoin really should be worth at least a couple of US dollars (I still think it should be worth more then Litecoin.)  If it was worth 2 dollars then it would cost $20,000 USD to set up a masternode, which is pretty expensive.

DASH's masternodes cost like $72,000 USD and so no normal person can get in on the rewards or the voting which isn't really fair.

If Terracoin was worth 3 dollars and it took 1,000 Terracoin to set up a masternode that is still pretty high, but at least a small group of people could get together $3000 worth of TRC to get a masternode going.

I think there clarifies some niche on market named 'cheap masternode' And probably we are aiming this niche. We will see

That originally was my idea, but the masternode is locked to an exact amount in a transactions so an ever changing amount won't work.

My predictions are total guesses.  Optimistic total guesses.

4.20.17 Terracoin Update – Working Hard

Hello everyone, I have another Terracoin update for you.  I am not sure if I am going to do this every week or not, but we will see!

Rehrar and SixofFive are hard at work on the new website and the new wallet, respectively.

In order to help attract new users to the Terracoin community, Cyniaxi is working on two new guides for novice Terracoin users.  One is about how to merge mine and the other is about how to manually add nodes.  

We have started discussing ways to make Terracoin a cryptocoin for the world.  One of which is to donate regularly to non-profit organizations that help make the world a better place.  There are two ways we can do this after the DASH masternodes are implemented.  One way is to donate the net profit  of The Terracoin Foundation masternode to non-profit organizations and the other way is to put in proposals and ask for donations which would be donated to non-profits.

SegWit is still on the table, mostly because we haven’t discussed it much.  We are concentrating on DASH’s decentralized governance right now.

We have added another new volunteer johnwhitestar.  He has translated our ANN into Italian and is willing to translate the new website to Italian once it is ready.

As hanzac suggested a while ago we are thinking about coding in a dynamic seed node list that is pulled from the website so that we won’t run into our current problem with new wallets having issues finding nodes.

Now for the numbers!

We have gained 17 twitter followers in the past 30 days with a total of 129.  Of our twitter followers 91% are male and 9% are female.

30 days ago we were at 0.00000368 BTC (.0038 USD) and today we are at 0.00001134 BTC (.0139 USD.)  In the past 7 days we have gone over the 2 cent price once.

We are ranked 231 on coinmarketcap with a marketcap of $297,425 USD.
