Who ever it is is wasting a ton of money. They could be making a thousand dollars an hour hashing at that rate. Instead they are not making a penny. They are out at least 8000 dollars. They must be trying to drive the price of the coin up but it can't go up because the network is locked up. What they are doing is senseless and it won't work.
People who throw that much money around typically have a reason for doing it though. Grab some popcorn, kick back and watch the show. exactly. i just threw some extra hash on the network, so we solve this block faster. id suggest anyone who wants to get things moving back to normal does as well. theres a miningrigrentals link in our OP, use our referral if you dont have an account but would like to sign up for it. it's easy to rent rigs online, hardly any work required. So... many... clicks though..... When I get to the office I'll throw some rigs onto the network.

I have been told that the perpetrator is off the network but it appears that until someone finds a block the difficulty won't drop. Hmm hope someone finds one soon.
That block will soon get rekt. Have no fear.

No fear... Just watching and commenting. It just seems as though the network should not respond like this. It should at least put a block out once an hour just to keep everything moving.

Well this is a very typical response when a large scale miner comes on board, fails to solve a high diff block and suddenly drops off the network --leaving the smaller miners to finish a mountain of hashing before the block is solved and the diff is adjusted.

Will there ever be a .exe file that preconfigures to i2p/tor that works on all Windows systems from XP to 10? No setup instructions, just download and go?
Very good questions as I think that would make it simple for everyone.

yeah, did you forget we had one for doged? we'll have one for verge as well. and our i2p web wallet is accessible through just a few clicks. download i2p, plug in proxy and go to web wallet. edit: i will never make software for windows 10 however, because attempting anonymity from it is pointless, but winxp thru win8, yes

I couldn't agree more. It literally might be the worse release of windows ever IMHO. I have disabled runtime broker and cortonna and they still seem to eat up resources to the point where windows shows me a popup that asks would I like to shut them down :-) "YES I would like to shut them down PERMANENTLY" :-)
