Have you approached 1ex.trade?

gives multiple FIATS to trade against, V2 is released this month would be good to see Verge on it if dev willing to Verify

sure, what do they need me to do?

E-Mail:
General : contact@1ex.trade

Feedback: support@1ex.trade

probably one of them, I will put up a request in the fresh desk but you will have to flick them an email I think,

Could also msg WBB dev Peter, he is heavily involved in it and can point you in right direction.

Would love to see XVG on 1ex, personally.  Can support two of my favorite projects at the same time!

their response from my email:

"on V1 of 1EX we will not list any more coins, for V2 you can make a request for listing directly on the exchange. The V2 will be live in the next two weeks."

Thats what I expected, but that's awesome , through 1ex can link to a DD card and spend your coins as $$

DD Card?   I just love Dunkin Donuts.   thats a big plus...      :0

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

cryptsy wallets were cleaned up (sold on Bittrex) long ago it was warned here when it happened. all coins still in Cryptsy's control are gone for sure even if they really recovered part of the BTC.

I would suggest you hold it yourself any exchange is safe until something happens.

That's why everyone should always make sure to hold their coins in their own wallets unless they are trading it on daily basis why people trust a third party they never met in person more than they trust themselves is not plausible.

Is there a way of hacking an individual wallet or a virus stealing your coins?

i cant imagine the cryptsy bitcoins/litecoins can be "recovered".

if i had to guess, paul is having a conversation with himself about it in public, so that if he returns them, he can keep the reward (which i think is like 20%?!)

its not possible to "recover" coins sent to an address you don't control. you need a private key for that. or a quantum computer far superior to those in existence to obtain the privkey.

those are the only two ways to "recover" them.

so yeah, i think hes just going to give them back to himself, and keep the reward, and play it off like someone else did it.

paul, if you're reading this, we are many things, but stupid is not one of them.

If you took the right steps to protect your wallet.dat and don't download malware spyware etc. everything is safe.

I concur dev. The thing with "one man" exchanges is that sooner or later they get tempted to make the thing their "precious" and may succumb to temptation.
