Well it looks like things are starting on Bittrex. DogeD had a banner saying wallet maintenance, and there is no longer a listing in the BTC markets. I'm assuming step 2 is to rename it Verge.

dev imho it's very important to add to OP the explanation regarding that VERGE is Doged updated and a few Q&A so people don't get confused at least for the first few weeks. Also as soon as Bittrex has it trading as Verge updating coinmarketcap.com and coinwarz.com to Verge to reflect that.

While my balance is alarming low at bittrex at the moment, my deposit history now shows a number of recent XVG deposits that were DOGED deposits at the time they were made.
FWIW - the fee Bittrex is charging is fair RE: reason and amount (it might even be on the low-end of what the work is worth). The thing I was objecting to yesterday was what seemed like a lack of notice about the fee and then what appeared to be a ransom-esque situation: pay the fee or w/d your coins (not sure if that was intended). I'm not a coin developer, so I have no info as to what documents/terms-sheets coin devs get or agree to when trying to get a coin on Bittrex (or anywhere else).
