FOOTY Cash UPDATE
Footy Cash is considering some big changes to the coin. One of those changes would be to implement masternodes. Many of you are already familiar with masternodes, but a few of the noteworthy benefits are listed below. Before implementation we would have to determine how many Footy Cash are required to establish a masternode and some of the other parameters. We believe adding this to the coin could help expand the community, increase value, secure the network, and help us attract new partnerships. Masternode Benefits- Vote on proposals for coin improvements
- Improves demand
- Increases long-term value
- Rewards distributed regularly
- Increases security of the network
- More community involvement
Popular Coins Using Masternodes it usually 1/1000 coin supply. dev can see some coin used masternode Yes. But we don't have to follow 1/1000 of coin supply that other coins are doing. We can make our own rules. Thanks for the comment! Please consider that with the exception of DASH most of the other coins have more than Bitcoin's 21 million coin count; FootyCash, on the other hand has only has 4 million coins total. This fact must be taken into account. On another note - Since it seems like a relaunch is in order [if the dev is planning on doing all of these things]: Dev,
If your going to be adding more features why not add all the most popular and in demand features like segwit and some type of anonymous send? Question, if masternodes are allowed, does this mean that Footycash's coin supply will increase? From 4 million to... how many?

We are working out the exact parameters of the masternodes and will update the community when that has been finalized.

Quick question, how would masternodes increase value and help expand the community? There is no guarantee that masternodes will increase value of the coin, and I would prefer to generally stay away from talking about price as the developer. Some of the benefits of MN's were listed in that same post. Notably it would help secure the network, give incentives for people to buy and hold their coins, and allow the community to vote on proposals for Footy Cash. Our goal is to build a strong community, and a big part of that is listening to what everyone has to say and creating dialogue to establish the best possible approach to implement the vision.

any bounty I don't want to be mistaken for a dev. edit; I'm not a full member...lol...ah this stolen account.... We will be having a signature campaign in the next couple weeks. Until then we have bounties for blog/article posts on your own website, blog, or STEEMIT. You can also post a YouTube video about Footy Cash. If anyone is interested in doing any of these, pm me. More advertising for the coin will certainly be beneficial!

Question, if masternodes are allowed, does this mean that Footycash's coin supply will increase? From 4 million to... how many? Allowing Masternodes has nothing to do with the number of total coins. A fork would be required to do that; and I don't think a lot of people in the community would take kindly to their investments being "watered down". I don't think large holders of the FootyCash currency would switch to a new fork if it involved adding new coins. It would unwise to add additional coins.

The coin supply will continue to remain low as initially intended. We are currently testing the masternodes and will provide updates to the community as things develop.

Thank you, There is also the annual 3% POS stake which adds coins - at a rate of approx 120,000 coins per year, or about 330 coins per day, if I am not mistaken.

If masternode are added it would be weird that the supply does not increase with it.

We are currently testing the code, so nothing is set in stone. There won't be any significant change made to the supply.

I didn't do the math, but you are assuming all coins are being staked at all times. The coin will remain a low supply with low inflation. I wouldn't worry about that.

Silly me! There are only 4 Million total FootyCash coins. Yes, all coins are not being staked at all times, so the inflation rate would be much much lower.

My FootyCash Windows 10 client connections are fine now. I can now connect up to 18 nodes at a time.
