The disappointing thing is that I just transferred my FOOT to CoinExchange from Cryptopia like a week ago (was still hoping that you guys would work out an automated swap with them), but now can't transfer out of CoinExchange. And after doing so much work - installing a Windows VM on my Mac and syncing for 2 days.

I've sent them a support request but its probably beyond me to handle on my own because its a wallet issue - could you get in touch with them and ask them to reenable it? Its just for a few days anyway right - after that Footy is on a new chain anyway.

They already have the information required for the update.  The best way to get the attention of the exchanges is to open a support ticket asking them to update the wallet and enable withdrawals.

Anyone that has coins to be swapped will be able to.  I have provided Cryptopia with the information for the wallet upgrade and soon as that happens they can enable withdrawals.  

I have personally invested a lot of time and money into this project.  There is no developer fund, so everything is out of my own pocket.  A short delay on being able to withdraw your coins from an exchange will not have any affect on the long-term prospects of the coin.  Be patient.  You will be taken care of, you have my word!

There are a lot of people like me who have the potential to inject a lot of our pension funds into crypto but things like footy cash coin swap make it difficult and scary. Can i send my footy cash coins from cryptopia to coin exchange.io directly and have them sit there and converted automatically to the new footycoin? Or do i have to go through this git hub thing myself?

You can also check by clicking on the help tab in your wallet, then click Debug and you should see the Blockchain numbers going up and the last block time. If this is moving then you know the wallet is syncing and you can also see if its up to date by the "Last block time" I hope this helps.
