I tried to send the old coins using the console, and I got an error saying that the wallet is only unlocked for staking.  How do we also unlock it for sending?

when you enter your password to unlock your wallet - uncheck the box below that says: "for staking only"

This will unlock your wallet fully. "Staking Only" partially unlocks your wallet.

Is there some info on how to add a masternode ? I don't really get the fields in "add footycash node", e.g how do you get the private key of the masternode? And to which address do you have to send the collateral?

On the new FootyCash Client (v.2.0.0.3) I can only make one connection.

I would like to activate the UPNP for network connections, but the option seems unavailable - it's greyed out and wont let you check the box. 

Is there a manual way to activate network UPNP, maybe from the command line?

I was informed other people are having the same issue.

I'll look into upnp. It may not be compiled into the wallet.

How long do we have to wait to get our new coins once we send the old ones in?

I will send the coins as soon as I am able to and it somewhat depends on how fast blocks are found on the network.  We had to release as a fire drill because of the situation at Cryptopia, so I didn't have time to prime the network with coins for staking.

dmanicus is handling the swap manually, so please be patient.  We have contacted CoinExchange to help with the swap, and will update the community when more information is available.

I still have hope that we'll be able use coinexchange for a coin swap. In the meantime, Footycash has asked me get started on a manual coin swap.


Manual Swap steps:

Step 1, download the new wallet from here:

Step 2, addnode is needed as I have not created a DNS seed yet:

Step 3, send coins from the old wallet to DESK6cNAJSKhf8tQvf31hNetnJCSfS3axe adding a comment with your V2 address

the syntax looks like this to send 0.9998 of old coins where your new V2 address is FKMrY91BKyS2u9BXLkhXDeYHhKTvK7Tm4A:

sendtoaddress DESK6cNAJSKhf8tQvf31hNetnJCSfS3axe 0.9998 FKMrY91BKyS2u9BXLkhXDeYHhKTvK7Tm4A

Type the above in the console, replacing the amount of coins and the new address


Step 4, pm or post the output of your transaction
In the wallet, double click on the transaction, copy and paste it to the thread or pm it to me

output will look  like this:

Status: 17 confirmations, broadcast through 15 nodes
Date: 8/7/2017 12:47
Debit: -0.9998 FOOT
Credit: 0.9998 FOOT
Transaction fee: -0.0001 FOOT

The network is still a little slow. I'm sending coins to new addresses when I get the chance to speed it up.  It will speed up as we have more wallets staking, so please keep your wallets open to stake your coins if you can.  Coins stake automagically when the wallet is open.

I have a mac and this wallet does not support mac. Did i just loose all my coins?...
