My FootyCash Windows 10 client connections are fine now.  I can now connect up to 18 nodes at a time.

Hi daniel,
where do these nodes need to be added at debug.log or db.log in the conf file? I stopped buying Footy after 1200 coins due to my wallet issue. I am trying it again today, hope my wallet starts syncing today.

I just created a blank notepad file, named it FootyCash.conf, pasted the above text into it, then saved it at the location specified above.

When you save FootyCash.conf using notepad you have to put quotes around the file name or windows will name the file FootyCash.conf.txt.
Example save file name:  "FootyCash.conf"
Include the quotes when you save with notepad.  Save the file at:  C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\FootyCash

Worked for me.

Use this Updated List with the above instructions:

@dev,

Is there any chance we can get more nodes please? I only have 1 active node and sometimes I have 0 as it drops out so it makes it hard to stake. I also checked Cryptopia to see if they have more nodes but they also just have 1 active nodes. Thanks in advance.

Use the following link to find nodes to put in your FootyCash.conf  file:

http://foot.dblocks.io/network

Use the instructions from the previous post to update the file as necessary.

Regarding how many coins are being staked at one time, I recall this is due to the network weight plus your own weight in coins.
Is there a formula or a rough breakdown as to how this is calculated?

Thank you

In last week I have been following this coin. I like that the team is active, and I like the idea behind the coin.

So I invested.

I have a couple of questions.

Do we know when Footy will arrive on bigger exchanges?

Do we know how many coins per masternode will be needed?

Thank you.

Someone asked me:

Quote
Why would Draftkings or Fanduel select FootyCash (FOOT) for customer deposits/withdrawals over conventional Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum?  Why should they use FootyCash over Bitcoin?

FootyCash (FOOT) is the first cryptocurrency designed for Fantasy Sports and there are only 4 million total coins ever; as good as those reasons are, what makes FootyCash a better choice over Bitcoin for DraftKings and Fanduel customer deposits/withdrawals are the following reasons:

FootyCash's roadmap and ongoing development will make FootyCash far better for Fantasy Sports than the other more popular coins such as Bitcoin, etc.

FootyCash will have features that are specifically designed for Fantasy Sports and gambling as a whole.

One example is an Anonymous Send feature.  Bitcoin does not have Masternodes nor an Anonymous Send feature but FootyCash is currently developing these features.

The legality of Fantasy Sports in every country is not clear, most being ambiguous at best. Even though most U.S states are legalizing Fantasy Sports gambling there are some people who would feel more comfortable with a coin designed to protect them in the area where the law may not be clear.

Both Draftkings and Fanduel also would want a coin that can cater to the Fantasy Sports industry as a whole, with features designed for Fantasy Sports - i.e fantasy sidechains, etc...

Bitcoin can't do that, but FootyCash can.

Fantasy Sports are not illegal gambling - DraftKings and FanDuel are both legitimate U.S corporations that are valued in the Billions:

https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2017/06/ftc-two-state-attorneys-general-challenge-proposed-merger-two

Concerning the legality of individual states:

https://www.law360.com/articles/944544/draftkings-fanduel-can-focus-on-dfs-legalization-post-deal

Quote
Over the past year and a half, DraftKings and FanDuel have been able to convince state lawmakers in eight states to expressly legalize DFS, most significantly in New York as it ended lawsuits by the state attorney general.

Both DraftKings and Fanduel get Licenses to operate in Indiana:

(July 1st 2017)

http://www.indystar.com/story/money/2017/07/01/draftkings-fanduel-fantasydraft-get-fantasy-sports-licenses/445818001/

Quote
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Just three paid fantasy sports companies have obtained licenses to offer their games in Indiana.

The state gaming commission granted licenses Thursday to DraftKings, FanDuel and FantasyDraft. That step makes them the only legal such sites in Indiana as of Saturday under a state law adopted last year requiring licenses for companies offering the games where players compete online for cash prizes by picking teams of real-life athletes.

Fantasy Sports Betting Legal in Delaware?

http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/politics/2017/06/22/bill-could-legalize-fantasy-sports-betting-delaware/417549001/

Quote
If a bill making its way through the House becomes law, Delawareans will be able to bet on fantasy sports.

Current state law does not allow online fantasy sports betting that involves cash prizes –a stipulation the Delaware Department of Justice cracked down on last year when it officially ended the activity.

But a bill by Rep. Charles Potter, D-Wilmington, which moved through the House Gaming and Parimutuels Committee on Wednesday, marks the latest in a long line of legislative efforts to legalize and regulate the fantasy sports industry in Delaware.

The bill's release makes the First State one step closer to joining 12 others that have passed similar laws. Thirteen others are considering it.

Potter's bill did not make it to the governor's desk the last time it came to the General Assembly two years ago, but he said he believes added regulations will convince lawmakers to give it a second look.

If enacted, House Bill 249 places tougher regulations on game operators. They would need to apply for a license and comply with “some of the strictest consumer safeguards” in the nation, including prohibiting minors and misleading advertising from their sites.

Operators also would have to fork over a 15 percent tax on their net adjusted revenues on top of an annual $50,000 fee.

Potter said "a lot of people" throughout the state have been playing fantasy sports illegally, and he wants to regulate the industry as a way to better manage it.

Some 150,000 Delawareans enjoy the sites today, said Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe LLP attorney Scott Ward, who represents DraftKings and FanDuel.

"That will bring income into the state," Potter said. "If you imagine you have 150,000 people that are playing right now, that number's going to grow when it's legal, so if a person bets an average of $100 a month, you can do the math."

Ward said Delaware has been involved in daily fantasy sports for 40 years, starting with weekly USA Today brackets and evolving into online sites.

I think Footy is working on getting onto a bigger exchange.

5000 coins for a masternode, 60 second blocks, .5 coin reward per block, 1/3 to staker and 2/3 to masternode is what's coded. I think this is still up for debate. I hope I didn't jump the gun with the numbers, @footycash

Judging by some of the previous post about Fantasy Sports, apparently there are people that are new to FootyCash.

So here are some important facts:

Footy Cash (FOOT) has seen a meteoric rise in valuation for the past month; with a price increase of more than 5000%+ on multiple exchanges.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=FOOT_BTC#

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.0

I think the reason being is that:

1. Footy has Rarity - Only 4 million coins total can exist.  There is a small POS inflation rate - about 3% annually (for staked coins only).
How many of you can say like the Winklevoss twins - that you own whole percentages of a cryptocurrency.
Looking the current price of FootyCash you actually might be able to!

2. Footy is the first Fantasy Sports Crypotocurrency ever made. - Footy is the Bitcoin of Fantasy Sports!

3. Fantasy Sports is a multi-billion dollar industry - with tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue just for Fantasy Football alone!  If you count all the illegal gambling the figure goes much higher - maybe hundreds of billions? (not that I am condoning illegal gambling - but it's a fact of reality that must be considered anyway).

4. Coinmarketcap list just under 900 altcoins; of those listed only a  small percentage of altcoins have a cap of less than 4 million total coin.  Every coin on coinmarketcap with a rarity of less than 7 million total coins produced are all worth more than $2.00 USD - with the exception of Dreamcoin (because of YOBIT) and FOOTY CASH (which is currently undergoing a price correction: 5000% increase in the past month alone.)

5. The coin was greatly undervalued because of unawareness of the Footy cryptocurrency and Fantasy Sports as well.  As more and more people become aware of its value the price will continue to rise. The price may go higher than $10.00 USD per coin before the end of the year!

6. FootyCash has a great developer, active development, and the best community support!

7. FootyCash has a promising roadmap and is currently developing Masternodes and Anonymous Send like DASH and PIVX for the next release.

8.  The name FootyCash may sound funny but "Footy Cash" is an actual English term (apparently):

     https://www.power100.com.au/news/local-news/81959-footy-cash-to-go-to-good-friday-appeal
     and
     http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/california-club-brothel-sues-in-footy-cash-feud/news-story/bd77f7d397a34a067342a113b5bfa5d8

9. DraftKings, FanDuel, and other Fantasy Sports companies are getting the legislative green light to operate in most U.S States and other countries as well.

https://www.law360.com/articles/944544/draftkings-fanduel-can-focus-on-dfs-legalization-post-deal

Quote
Over the past year and a half, DraftKings and FanDuel have been able to convince state lawmakers in eight states to expressly legalize DFS, most significantly in New York as it ended lawsuits by the state attorney general.

When these companies decide to follow the trend of most corporations and switch to blockchain technology - I guarantee you that they will take a hard look at FootyCash first!

One example is an Anonymous Send feature like DASH and PIVX.

*****************************************************************

FootyCash (FOOT) dev just confirmed Anonymous Send feature like DASH and PIVX to be added along with masternodes in the new release of FootyCash:

From:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.400

The focus right now is on creating masternodes for the coin.  They will help provide stability to the network and incentives for ownership.

We are making excellent progress, and will update the community on details for how many coins are required for a masternode, features, and other important information shortly.

Welcome to any new members of the community Grin

How many coins to avail in masternodes? What is the benifets if i buy masternodes? It looks good for me i just want to know some more info about this coin thank you dev. I wish i could buy some cheap coins until the masternodes emplimentation is release

There are a number of important features outlined below.  We will be releasing details on masternode requirements soon.

The fantasy sports industry needs faster payment methods and anonymity to protect personal information, so these features fall right in line with our mission statement.

Features

  • Anonymous Transactions
  • Improved Network Security
  • Faster transactions
  • Decentralization
  • Community voting on proposals

Are you going to use the same Anonymous Send features as DASH or PIVX?

Yes.  What we are working on for the masternodes will have an anonymous transaction like PIVX and DASH.  Still testing things, and will keep the community updated.  Hope to have something ready in the next week.
