If you are planning to give out loans to users on this forum, it would be good to check their forum profile and see if they have any bad history of defaulting loans via the trust ratings left on their profile, and always remember to secure a collateral that is higher than the amount you are going to loan out.
I would not advise giving loans using this forum if you are not a trusted member, there is no security that such person can pay so you have
to be more careful and learn to minimize the risk. AFAIK, before you have to collateral you account in order to get granted and some people are just
abusing it as they can easily buy new accounts.

I agree with you, since it is very risky to loan someone on the net whom you did not know. A  complete stranger that  has only his rank or reputation to trust but if there are feed backs from  known personality here, maybe I can give a try but in minimal amount first.

It's really risky getting involved in the loans game in crypto. All of the attempts I've seen thus far have been mostly a failure because people is defaulting left and right and nothing happens, so people just get stop giving loans since it's pretty much like a gamble. Even the guys that got A+ level of certification somehow still defaulted. Im not saying 100% is a scam but a lot of people default.

Giving such loans here is not advisable. No one can be sure with reliability and trustworthy of a person here, for the security and safety of all, yes it is risky that's why we have to make a right decision before commiting such actions.

I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

You can use some secure lending platform to lend your BTC. Bitfinex is one such platform which helps to lend your BTC to borrower at fixed interest rate that too with return guarantee.

I think personally borrowing is very heavy and high risk too, so we must consider first before borrowing, for fear we can not return it is very fatal.

A borrower may not pay if there is no strict binding of transaction, collateral is very important but let's get real, who would
offer a collateral here higher than his loan amount considering you do not know if the person you are transacting is using his real name and information.

i think its depend on how you use the loan you get. because if you have a strategy on to make your money cycle proper you can get more money than you loan. so for me yes loan is risky but if you have strategic plan. it will be lesser risk

Before giving any loan, we need to check person that ask for loan. With proper collateral there is no risk, cause collateral need to worth more then loan, so the loaner can sell it for cash in anytime. Why checking? With good check we can always tell is person that loan are able to return that found, does that person have a job, is that person rich, or have some other goods to sell for money.
Loans are risky, but with proper preparation it`s a good work, look at the banks, they are making big profit on their credits and loans.

I agree, loans are too risky indeed. For both the borrower and the one who borrowed all are considered risky. The borrower may not pay you most specially if there is any legal document binding you in a contract. On the part of the one who had made the loan, the interest could be so high and you did not noticed it that it was stipulated in the contract as a result you will have a hard time paying it. I understand how hard life is today but make sure you are not in a loan that will just fill your life with misery.

In my opinion. Any borrowing is controlled and scrutinized. They have many facilities to check and decide which loans are legal. property taxes or related papers are required for large loan periods. This is a risky asset and a very high risk of loss and can not be recovered.

Lol I don't believe a word you say about your bitcoin holdings, no offense.  And what's up with people not returning what they borrow?  Hello, are you new to the world?  It's greed and dishonesty.  I assume you're probably not new to this forum either.
For me investment is always risky especially if we dont know how effective our strtegy to make us more successful. In relation to crypto I know we consider the risk but the positive of this was we could be the greater income we gained from this currency.

Loans or lending is one of the most risky business Ive known for now even the borrower submitted all the needed documents or have a valid collateral still you have no assurance if they will pay on a promise date of repayment

I am a person who is really upset to those people that in instant they will come but afterwards then they will left you.
Some people love lending or loans because they will just have money from they dont even think about how they will pay it. Also there are some people who are afraid in taking risk because they are not sure if they can pay it to the promise date.

Entering as a business this is kind risky because we may never know if our clients will pays as on time, what if we lose/empty our capital how can we start again.

BIG WINNER!

Yes i agree that loans is too risky especially when you don't have an income to use in paying it the longer the days you cant pay it the higher the added percentage of charges in the capital so when you dont need money badly avoid having loans.

Loans are too risky because there is a monthly or anually interest depends upon to the rule of the lending companies. So you need to analyze your profit carefully to achieve your income by calculating the interest of the money you lend. The another risk is if you investment site or business will be a scam that will be your doom problem so its better to use properly your and think twice before its too late.

Yes loans can be risky because we don't know when they will return what thet have borrowed, some may intend not to repay you.  But for you to take precautionary measures to avoid such thing to happpen, you should weigh in whether to let them borrow or not,  are they capable of  paying you back? Those are some questions to ask to yourself.  Then if they do,  you could ask for collateral so that you would have an assurance to secure for yourself.

Most of the people apply for a loan are in a hurry. This can be possible due to a number of reasons like urgent requirement of funds for some emergency. There are possibilities of making mistakes in this hurry and this is what happens in most of the cases.

Getting loan for investing in bitcoin or any other crypto currency is not a wise decision, although it is very much possile to get a good profit from bitcoin investment, because there is much potential in bitcoin price to increase, so bitcoin can be consider as safe investment, but sill i think that we cannot trust on it too much, because still it price is can drop too much and w can face a serious trouble.

It is up to everyone personaly, to give, or not to give... I personally give, btu if the amount is big I would ask a person to write a special document subscribing all the terms of agreement, amount and bounds of time to return money.

That would be hard to do online especially if you are not a business entity.
Most people loaning here are just doing a micro loans, with a high interest and short term, that way they can manage the risk.

At the lending platafforms risk to loose all coins, lending here can be profitable, but you always take a risk, some users are able to get a good profit lending to just reputable members.
i think we should minimize the risk, investment should use free money, so we are more calm in face of a market that has high fluctuations. besides loans, we can get capital through bounty campaign

Yes thats true giving oir a loan is too risky though you're giving it with a proper interest, you must be wise and be picky to those whom you your giving their loan and ask for any collateral to be hold in case you got nothing in return on the time of payment.
