We might be back in business soon?  and even if the dollar is still a few thousand away from entering into the top 100, some of the other currencies might have had already gotten into the top 100, even though even the Euro's information (the raw data) does not seem to have been updating in the last month or so.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

June 2022 was a full bear market... Bitcoin winter.

Yefi was probably hibernating. It's time for him to wake up.

Spring is here. New high prices will be blooming soon.

Yeah.. I am not sure about the yefi situation... I recall that historically yefi has had some periods of hibernating, but a year and a half is pretty damned long... so it is difficult to know.. and members here are most likely not Turing complete (to the extent that anyone believes that Turing completeness** is actually even possible)..

** By the way, I don't really claim to know exactly what Turing completeness is, so I might be using such description wrongly.  My sense of Turing completeness is a kind of system that can continue to run forever without human intervention... so my sense is that even if some computer programs might seem to be Turing complete, they still need electricity.. so they would have to make sure that their system is able to harness energy without breaking down, etc etc etc..   One thing that I may perhaps erroneously consider as  Turing complete is something like a 10,000 year clock built into a mountain.. but yeah, sure, maybe I am lacking imagination.

I have been thinking that Dooglus might be a good person to do this, if he is willing - especially since 1) he is currently active, 2) he had already been doing making those kinds of posts previously, prior to Yefi taking over and 3) he may well already be following this thread (otherwise one of us might want to send him a PM and get his view on the topic.. not that "we" (perhaps royal?) are overly desperate, yet... hahahahaha).

And the starter of this thread, dree12 has been inactive since December 2017, even longer period of inactivity than yefi.

these numbers are ready to go

You can look at today's numbers and see that we are not quite there, yet..

2024-02-26 00:00:00   51738   54969   50909   54648   2558.45   135409736.06   52926.55

So if we see the $52,926.55, we still have about $2,448 to go.. for the average daily trade volume..

I would love to see a rarity a pre 1/2 ing all time high.

I guess you could say any new all time high before 2012 1/2 ing  was indeed just that.  But I do not think  we had ATH in the 30-50 days before

Just a courtesy call. I don't have the time to continue this, so I hope dooglus or another can pick up the baton.

I imagine the table will becoming rather wider rather soon...

I am glad that you are still alive and kicking.

Some of us, including but not limited to yours truly, were getting worried about you...

but yeah, too bad that you are not able to do the daily updates or whatever they might end up being.. .. and hopefully we can get someone, if not dooglus, with the skills and willingness to do it.

Today looks to be a good day. Make it so.

Yeah.. yesterday crossed into the top 100  (64th place), and then today is still in progress, and today's number is right around 46th place, so far.. but we still have right around 8 more hours before the day closes (as far as I remember the days close midnight UTC)

This was the most expected moment for the most of the bitcoin traders here, many of us waiting since the last mark of 68k and never upto the value of 50k for the longer period. But here is the bull run,the expected bull run of 2024.Some of  my friends holding since the last bull run and the halves. This was really amazing one, because many never believe the halves will happen in the 2024.But the belief was crushed after the mark of 50k in the bitcoin price and huge bull run in the past few days and we are in the 60k again,it’s like just wake from my dream of night mare.Actually it was the real happy ending of the traders, this bull run will help many people to withdraw the long holding bitcoin. But my suggestion is just hold for the exact bull run, because the current bull run had reached the mark of 61k dollars which is really the twice the value of 30k mark which was long time mark in the bitcoin price.Hopefully we reach the 68k mark in the short period,it’s better to hold till the expected mark of 68k in the market.

Yeah thats true I was actually surprised and amaze infact I was obviously flabagated how my investments in crypto rosed within few weeks I must say that am very lucky to come across investments in bitcoin it has actually made me a change person today...

Perhaps I was very confused and I was grieved with fear in order not to invest in bitcoin but from the look of some updates I see about bitcoin so far motivated also with a friend who is members of the great this forum, who gingered me to go ahead with the investment even before he introduced me to this forum which am very happy and amazed to be a part of today I must commend that bitcoin investment is the best so far so good there is no other coin bitcoins still remains the head of it all..

Nevertheless, Bitcoin has change alot of peoples life just within few hours it even happen to my neighbour also I never believed him till this moment which  am enjoying the fruits of my obedience yes I said obedient because I didn't laboured much for this I am one of the happiest person right because of the kind of appreciation this cryptocurrency called bitcoin has done to me so far it has only been a good news from day one I started till date..

With today hitting over $64k I'm guessing today is in the top 20.

Well, we have to remember that it is the weighted averages:

2024-02-27 00:00:00   54534   57615   54500   57068   4197.17   238044743   56715.53
2024-02-28 00:00:00   57065   64000   56724   62512   5991.01   361873461.3   60402.75
2024-02-29 00:00:00   62512   62512   61053   61430   322.47   19869881.43   61618.54

So for yesterday's (the 28th) final results we ended up landing for the totals for the day right around 36th place in terms of all time high..

Today's today's trade volume is still ONLY based on right around 4 hours-ish of trading volume so only 322-ish BTC traded, so far.

The raw data comes from the "load raw data" from the bitcoincharts website.  https://bitcoincharts.com/charts/bitstampUSD#rg60ztgSzm1g10zm2g25zv
