I'm not worried about the price, but the biggest question is why Colin hasn't switched the ANN page from XRB to Nano  

This thread isn't managed by any NANO official representative, and the one who created this thread hasn't been online for quite a while. I'm thinking of creating a new ANNouncement page for NANO myself, and ask the moderators to lock this one.

Your idea in my opinion is very good, because by changing the name of the thread to Nano will make a lot of new people know about Nano coins. I hope the dev team will support your idea

It doesn't matter whether team made the ann or not. whoever made it, should have at least that much responsibility to follow his own thread. Rebranding was few months ago and we still see raiblocks.

I've contacted mprep (moderator of Altcoins Announcements) regarding this and have asked him to close this thread so that I may create a new one. I'll try to keep it alive & updated, unlike this one.

Don't you think this should be coordinated with the Nano team first of all? I'd refrain from moving somewhere else  so far. We've been discussing officially started thread...However your enthusiasm is praiseworthy and obviously you should notify the Nano team, maybe they would even make you an official moderator.

Midway thru the thread; I've been reading it starting from page one and I gotta say I admire the kind of in-depth discussions that you guys have here, it's not often that a project's thread is filled with interesting opinions and whatnot

I absolutely agree that this should be in notice of the core team or something related. For sure its a decentralized project and some community driven things are needed, but the moderation of the thread might be something the team wants to do themself. 
I actually prefer a non moderated one to be honest

Before opening the new announcement thread, I had a little chat with one of the community managers of NANO at Discord and I told them about this situation.

The only reply I got from them:

It'd be nice of you if you can do that.

So I guess it's fine; we can move to the new thread.

Why they didn't just edited the title of this thread which is well known and already people are aware of this. I can see the person who started this thread was very active till couple of months ago. If new thread was to be started then best was to closed this one by letting everyone to know to redirect there. Two threads for same coin doesn't look good.

Fair enough, sounds good. But I still think you should be added to their community chat or something and to be timely updated. Anyway it's your time and Nano is a legit project, so they have to conclude an agreement with you and pay for your work.

Can't but agree, it's the easiest way and I don't know why they haven't delivered this  taking into account the number of requests from the community. Previously I've been thinking this doesn't matter but I realized this is a rather pressing issue...

Untill you do not have full synch wallet coins will not showing on wallet balance and will have status pending
Status pending means that coins is 100% yours

If you do not want wait full synch process you can import SEED in light wallets - Canoe or Nanovault

It will not matter if people know the history of XRB until renamed to Nano. But for new people, they will feel confused. I wish there is a new thread about Nano, which featured everything new about Nano

For long-term investors who still believe in Nano technology, then this is the best opportunity to collect more Nano coins. I'm sure the market will not always deteriorate, someday it will definitely improve

Unfortunately, our faith has no effect. This is dependent on big players only but for sure this is a good time unless btc gets down more. And being fair I do not feel like we see the bottom at the moment. Cryptocurrencies are tied to btc much more then projects' tokens in my opinion. Especially, when we're talking about the projects of real use case. So, my willing is to hear about some project started by the team/new significant solution (security/anonymity/scalability/representatives structure)/some kind of collaboration or partnership.
