01/02/2017

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi has introduced real-time cross-border payments on a blockchain by integrating technology from industry firm Ripple. The offering will immediately benefit customers in the Asia-Middle East remittance corridor.

Announced today, the NBAD laid claim to be the first bank in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to go live with blockchain technology for real-time remittance. The new feature will facilitate its entire regional customer base with efficient, instant cross-border payments.

Ya its much smarter to hold in this case. That jump to 2500 could indicate that it may go that way, and the fact it can jump that quickly with the kind of walls up mean now would be a good time to buy in in my opinion

Some big players have shown up.  The ask has grown some more.  Lets hope the demand > supply!
Can anyone provide Polo wallet?
Also many shorts on POLO interest at 0.5% with an available supply still of  28232400.07 and Loan Demands of 1543440.490  at 0.05%  Shocked

edit:  quick numbers:
Total supply:37,388,960,792
at the ask:118,512,196
Loan offers: 28,687,252

% supply at Polo = (118,512,196+28,687,252)/37,388,960,792 x 100 = 0.32% of coins at Polo.

hi everyone. I heard Ripple wont need XRP for all these new banks and transactions and that XRP can only go down - if in case this is true, sounds reasonable. Where can I catch up with what really is going on with XRP? ty

Of course it would not use XRP, it has too much volatility like any altcoin!  Ripple will probably develop a new stable token for banks use and it will not be an altcoin.  My opinion only!

Wrong!

XRP is burned in every ripple transaction. Can't use Ripple without XRP.

XRP is needed to use Ripple. Everytime a non XRP transaction takes place on Ripple, XRP coins are burned. So in every Ripple transaction, whether XRP is used or not, XRP is being either burned or traded.

But don't be confused like some of the posters above, XRP IS ALWAYS USED ON RIPPLE YOU CAN'T USE RIPPLE WITHOUT XRP

An opinion without any research.

XRP is used on every transaction of Ripple. You can't use Ripple without XRP.

If you use Ripple to move something other than XRP, then XRP is BURNED EVERY SINGLE NON XRP TRANSACTION ON RIPPLE.

Don't let the haters fool you, many liars out there trying to say that XRP won't be used, CAN'T USE RIPPLE WITHOUT XRP!

You're welcome. I notice a lot of people trying to spread that mis-information that the banks will somehow not use XRP when that's impossible.
