I think it's just matter to wait somebody starts using XRP, then everybody else will have to start doing the same to reduce costs and make payments faster as well, unless they want to be left out of business.

When american express will start using it there is going to be a hell of a lot of noise

i am holding till 2020

That's what I said back when LTC was still $3. After a while I saw LTC reach up to $10, I end up not selling it even today, it must be greed or whatever but I kept holding it hoping it will be more than $50 now that its almost $80, I'm still holding them thinking it will be more than how much it is.  You will probably hold XRP until you'll withdraw it when there is the need for fiat.

I do the same  . I bought ETC at 10$ and the initial plan was to sell at 15 $, but now it is already 18$ and I am still holding them. I don't have a direct need for that money, so I can keep them and hope that the price will continue to increase.

That's a really good entry price and you could've already sold for double at a recent opportunity! I would advise against holding out for too much profit, while it may reach somewhere in the mid 30s I do not see it going any higher than that.

It does not cost more to send a transaction if XRP is worth 10 USD. They need the price of XRP to be much higher because of the liquidity that is needed to send large transactions. Thats why XRP is only used by small fish at the moment. AMEX and other big fish will use XRP to save money as soon as there is liquidity.

Higher prices mean higher liquidity. And ripple works now on big liquidity

Also all time i see very good news that literally made go to moon any other coin , but when its about ripple just an 10% up or 15% (like the AMEX use of ripple). i think XRP still busy to update Ripple's team might be someday XRP will pump but people already frustrated regarding about huge pump of xrp but it might be marketing tactic to keep investor busy with trading Ripple !
but no one can really tell if it will pump up !
