I have question,
making payment with card on online shop,   a payment stuck, I refreshed page and did payment again, then I saw that card charged twice, but online shop show only one payment and one order.
How i can cancel additional one?

Thanks

This happened to me once, back when I still had the Wave Crest card. It took ages (a month) for the blocked funds to be available for spending again.

There are two options: 1) if the merchant (the online shop) is trustworthy, contact them (the merchant) and ask them to reverse or cancel the second transaction or 2) dispute the transaction by contacting Cryptopay who in turn will contact the card issuer to initiate a charge-back or a dispute of the second payment. The dispute will take time because Visa will give the merchant an opportunity to defend itself from your requested charge back. A lot of time. Weeks (in my case it took a month). I didn't dispute. Wave Crest told me if the merchant doesn't settle the second payment, Visa will automatically credit the funds back to my card. And they did.

If you want the money credited back to your card ASAP, you must proactively work on the matter by contacting the merchant. The merchant should reach out to their bank and have the second payment cancelled and Visa informed of that cancellation.
Thanks, for explain, amount very small (11EUR) and merchant one of biggest local shopping center(also online),
I hope they will return automatically, without my action.

It's almost 2018 and I'm still patiently waiting for a solution to the debit card dilemma. My Wave Crest and C.Pay cards are inactive but I am still keeping the app on my phone, hoping one day I might see an invitation to apply for your newest card product.

What should I do with the EUR and USD C.Pay cards? Are they definitely no longer valid? Should I cut them in half and discard them?

I'm visiting Japan next month and was hoping I might have a bitcoin debit card for some shopping in Osaka and Tokyo. Instead I have to buy a thick wad of Yen notes at a money changer downtown.

Any plans in progress for upcoming cards? Or is the card business as good as dead?

Hello!

We really appreciate your dedication and support. Every day we work for users like you to find an alternative card issuer and start issuing our cards to the countries outside the EEA again. We have some progress on the matter. The official announcement will be made once we know all the details. The current cards are not going to work for sure since VISA has updated their terms on 15 October and they are not likely to reverse the old conditions. You can cut the card in half or keep it as it is, it is up to you. We will keep you posted on the progress in getting the new card issuer. Stay with us!

Hello,
Apologies for the long quote, but if this is true, then why have you not updated the info on your site (https://cryptopay.me/bitcoin-debit-card)?
It clearly states lifetime load €1000.

Hello! We have some good news regarding the new card limits. Our card issuer has agreed to keep the old ones for one more month so more people will get a chance to spend the money from their card's balance if they don't want to get verified and those who intend to raise the limits will have more time to complete their verification. We understand that the verification procedures can be tough and might take a considerable amount of time. We recommend you uploading the verification documents as soon as you can in case there are any issues/additional docs needed. The new card limits will be implemented starting from 17 January.
Have a great weekend!

Kind regards,
Cryptopay Team

i notice that there are three currencies in the wallet.
Assuming I got GBP card , if the wallet is loaded with bitcoin that and sent it to the euro account part.(would be 1% fee)
Do you still incur a foreign transaction fee if then used in euros?

Or do you load it with pounds and then if you use it (shops, fuel stations etc) around the rest of Europe, does it convert/draw from the GBP or Euro account? (incuring a 3% fee???)
Same with international ATM fees.
Which part of the wallet does the funds come from?

I would like to apply for the promo code for GBP card.
I would be using the card to pay for goods and services in the UK, online payment and possibly use traveling around Europe.

Could you also clarify on the points in my previous posts?

Hello,

It is charged off the card balance. If the card has 0 balance the fee will be charged once the card is loaded again.

Hi,

You can load the card off any wallet, if the currency of the wallet is different from the currency of the card, 1% fee is charged.
Once you've loaded the card (assuming you have a GBP one), the funds are already stored in GBP and if you pay or withdraw in euros the funds will be converted from GBP to EUR, making it a Foreign Transaction.

If the transaction is cancelled it will most likely stay pending and will be returned to the account within 14 business days.

Account set up, card selected and verification sent.

Notes on scanning in a PDF for verification purposes.
I scanned drivers license and found in to be only about 42KB. The pdf was at 300dpi.
I would recommend sending it as a JPEG as it fulfills the the minimum 500KB size, where as PDF didn't.

An iPhone 6 was sufficient for the selfie required.

I have downloaded the app from the AppStore and its impressive.
It appears that you can do the verification through the App.
I did it via computer as I hadn't at that point downloaded the App and didn't know.

One question though.
Is the exchange rate to convert bitcoin to GBP the same as the buying rate of bitcoins?

Hello,
Apologies for the long quote, but if this is true, then why have you not updated the info on your site (https://cryptopay.me/bitcoin-debit-card)?

What this means at the end, if I'm unverified EU user I can still spend 1000$ on the VISA card, I thought the limit was lowered to 250$  Huh
I have not signed in to my account for 2 months.
Does this mean that I can recharge my card and use it again?
I am a little confused
