Getting verry worried. Unloaded money out of my card and sent to a Bitcoin address. Never arrived.

Cryptopay reckons I never sent it WTF? They sent an email confirmation!!!

And now my account history has been disabled!

Not a good look. Not at all good.

If this is true, thanks for the report and good of you to share this here. I have just $26 on my Cryptopay account and I'm keeping it that way, thanks to my being financially conservative and cautious. If unloading is not possible, then the cards are at risk of being declined at merchants and ATMs. Will not use their services until they sort this out.

Good thing I didn't join their ICO. Those who did invest might see their funds stuck in a company with an uncertain future.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I used the MC yesterday with no issues, fwiw. I unloaded the Visa card recently and restored to BTC before this latest BTC moon-shot - pure luck. I'm leaving the MC loaded for now. Gulp.

The company has treated me well so far, but they are in a difficult situation so almost anything could happen next. Don't ever risk what you can't afford to lose.

SCAM!!!

Please stop spamming this thread with the same refund-my-$2.50! again and again and again.

I believe they already refunded this money (0.0006) but you are now not happy that when you attempt to withdraw it, the amount you get is only 0.0001 after the miner's fee of 0.0005. (based on pic above)

Is this your last cash? You should try contacting them on their facebook and twitter pages or by contacting their staff on your account. You're just wasting your time by posting here again and again. I'm pretty sure none of their backend staff read posts here.

On your cryptopay account, convert the USD amount to btc first. You can then transfer it to an external wallet.

That is most concerning is that the USD account page has been disabled. So in effect I have no record of the card unload into this account. At least now I had a reply from support to confirm the amount. This really was a very reliable service up until now. I am still going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Or any other ICO, for that matter. A lot of the companies that were running ICOs for services related to Bitcoin debit cards or such with access to USD funds and the Visa and Mastercard networks will now be losing most of their funding options. Many ICOs already fail while having global contributions. Limiting the contributions to the European geographical area is just going to make it harder for them, Cryptopay included. Truth is though, this is getting significantly saturated with many companies doing the same thing for the same locale.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

That means currently no cards will work outside EEA right? OR do we have an option to use these cards in Asia?

Believe me, we were as stricken by it as you probably are now. We did everything in our power to find the solution. However, the decision was made by the global general purpose cards provider without prior notice. We are not allowed to disclose the brand or the grounds for this. The finance world is tough enough, not to mention the cryptocurrency business.
We are still discussing the chances of restoring the program, but such negotiations can take months and even years. We believe it would be dishonest to promise anything to our users now, hence the program was suspended and the payments refunded.
As the amount you paid has already been refunded to your USD account (please check the screenshot attached) it can't be resent to your BTC account.

Hello,

We have contacted you via email. The funds were refunded to your account. We do not keep your money, the thing is that the amount you are trying to withdraw is less than a minimum withdrawal limit.
We are sorry that at the moment the cards are not available, and we'll do our best to find a way out and extend the list of the supported countries, but so far you may feel free to use our service as a wallet, there is no restriction for that.

It's been a while, since I used Visa debit card.
Whether the card still works for unidentified users from the EU?
Or has been canceled since this month, and replaced with the mastercard.

VISA cards still work for EU residents, both verified and unverified.

Do you mean they disabled your country and kept the money?

The cards with billing addresses outside the EEA have been suspended and the balance has been transferred to the user's wallet. Wallets are still available for everyone.

Thank you for your trust. You can still unload your card and use it for purchases until 5th of December. We will return the cost of the card to your Cryptopay account till October 25th. If you still have funds left on your card after 60 days, don’t worry, we’ll also return them to your account. If your billing address is in the EU we'll gladly issue a VISA card as a replacement.

There is something in what you are saying, guys. The regulations for bitcoin businesses are getting stricter and stricter but we don't give up. Hello! As far as I remember from our conversation in the live chat, in the end you've been able to view your USD account history in the app. Our tech team has been investigating your case but they need at least a bitcoin address where you sent funds to and the Tx of that transaction. They will be happy to credit bitcoins if everything is OK with the transfer.
