Does anyone use their built-in exchanges for fiat?
They look totally dead.
Some trades are just on their BTC/Waves...
I think we need some time for development. Soon there will be nice volume I think, because this tech is really well.

Whats up with this Coinomat stuff repeatedly being talked about in this thread? I wasnt around by then, my understanding with the limited info i gathered is that Sasha had an ICO for a project some time ago, than he just abandon that project for waves and made those coins/tokens useless, is this correct? If it is, its quiet worrying since i am heavily invested in waves. Than he could just repeat that process and make waves useless :/?

It is a great worry to WAVES, my understanding from looking into Coinomat is Saha had many different assets on NXT, he announced during WAVES ico that these asset holders could either swap these assets to WAVES during the ico period, OR, keep the old assets to receive dividends from Coinomat and swap when WAVES platform launched. Those who did not swap during ico have now been abandoned, sasha never mentions them, they miss out on WCT airdrop, and did not get anymore dividends from Coinomat or CryptoCard projects ever again. They basically got ripped off, and sasha gets away with it. That is the wild west of crypto in 2017.

But how is this a "great" worry to WAVES?

Well I was hoping to get Waves cheaper so hopefully we get more "great" worries.

If the leader of WAVES project is shown to be capable of such blatant acts of dishonesty and/or incompetence in his past Coinomat projects then your investment in WAVES is under threat of the same outcome. That's a great worry to me, there's no regulator here in crypto land to protect you from bad actors like sasha.

This is indeed a worry, a project is only as good and trustworthy as its team (especially the CEO and "spokesman" of the project). To judge the people behind a project the only thing you can draw conclusions from is their past. But it is not easy to get the whole story of these coins and what was promised etc. Was these coins given away or did the investors buy them?

Some trades are just on their BTC/Waves...

So, this is interesting.
You are right, currently there is basically no volume on the fiat markets, so basically if you want to convert wbtc or waves to fiat > then withdraw through the fiat gateways.. doesn't really make sense, as for now.

BUT, and this is a big but (not butt ahaha), there will be real businesses using waves as a gateway to the crypto world.
that's were the volume for those markets will come, in my opinion
What those businesses will be.... it's only speculation.
But they could bring a lot of volume and transactions... and we could even see a completely different situation on WavesDEX markets

I noticed this as well so i decided to play my part in increasing the volume. I sold a small amount of waves and btc for fiat and whenever i see a reasonable asking/bidding price i will fill that order. Im basically "trading" (which i never usually do, i usually just hold and sell according to strategy) but not with the intention to make profit, rather i want to increase the volume and fill orders that are in the current price (worldcoinindex).
We all need to help the platform in the beginning to make it great and attractive to new investors.

Hi,  as a user of waves, I have noticed accumulation of tokens credited to my account, many of them are worthless.  I suggest a trashcan feature or button available were the worthless tokens are disposed of or exchanged for small amounts.

or maybe add "dice" option like on yobit where you can bet your trash coins and eventually lose them all. its at least fun Smiley

Like the idea; come to think about it, why not add a new Waves Casino add-on?

If you have got WAVES in your account, you will get some airdrops sooner or later.

Do you mean with full node stats page this page? http://dev.pywaves.org/generators/
You need 10k Waves running a full node.
ROI is short for Return of Investment

I was awaiting for a verification of Wagerr on the waves platform, and seems it ticks forever to get that tick mark. Can someone shed some light why is it so slow, or what are the factors that it depends on ?

I think its already been 3 days since it was listed.

It seems to be an airdrop to WTC holders: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wavesplatform/comments/6ividb/wavesbased_starrie_100k_airdrop_tomorrow_wct/.

I think its just another token from the platform, if its an airdrop of waves to waves token holders it would be great.

They had to handle BTC withdrawls manually for some time, I guess the delay is connected to this. To be sure, you could send an email to support@wavesplatform.com.
