What does this have to do with WAVES?

their Tokens are on the waves chain .. however it's kinda smelly.. huge discounts for earlybirds and no info about team and the Whitepaper looks like a Primary School homework

Eth is much more pumped now (I think by GPU manufacturers mostly), it's overpriced. And on the other side Waves is not so well-known. Waves need much more good unique ICO and it will start to shine!

What did you expect after such pump?
Either you go out 100% or partially at 250k, or you gamble and hope for more.
Cant go up indefinitely.

IMO, I think we will se a downward trend for the next 5+ months but hopefully dont go below 2$. But it will for sure be pumped in a year or so (compare it to ETH graph). Predicting 30-50 usd before next summer, all depending on how BTC fare. Remember, the waves project is tightly connected to the BTC since most of its founding comes from it, and they have loads of founding left. When the platform is ready they will for sure spend some of that founding on marketing which should pump the price.

The sudden drop might be a whale that knows marketing will soon take place. However he wont scare me, i have only invested money i dont need. I will not sell a coin below 20$.

It's funny because before it was absolutely opposite trend: btc goes up and alts go down and vice-versa

If it goes below that price, then it will be an excellent opportunity accumulate more of these waves. Because once the current market stabilises then these good altcoins will rise faster than bitcoin prices. So if your a long term investor then no need to worry much about these short term falls but you should consider it as an opportunity to get more of these good coins.

Yea remember it used to be like that, but wasnt that mainly coins "competing" with btc as a transaction currency. Most ICO coins today are meant as a point of sales  currency, so it would make no sense for them to increase if BTC decreased. Instead most of the ICO Projects funding are completely in BTC and ETH and therefore if BTC increases then it means that the project has more funding, while a decrease means less funding.. Fork shouldn't affect the ICOs funding since they should get equal amount of the "new" BTC as happened with Zclassic and ZEN (if i have understood the forks impact correctly).

Exactly how i view the situation . Accumulate and hodl for the next 2+ years, that is the luxury of investing money you dont "care" about.
