I tried to send a small amount from my Chrome Waves Wallet and it gives me the following error message:

Quote
Error!
Error:112 - State check failed

What does it mean? I tried several times and each time the message appears.

Thanks!

Are you leasing your Waves? You should unlease before they can be spent again Smiley

Arghh, thanks this was the reason. Thanks for your fast help!

I have leased only a part of my Waves but the transaction I wanted to sent was 3.5 Waves higher than my non-leased amount was. Nevertheless, it would be better if the error messages would be more descriptive so that such questions would not have to be asked here.

Hmm, I really thought that Waves will make massive gains because of the ETH network problems. We'll see.

It appears that whales are manipulating the scene right now in Waves and squeezing the noobs out. Hopefully, it will rebound soon as it went downhill in the past weeks. A good time to buy now because it is getting cheaper day by day?

What are the methods of staking in WAVES? (staking/mining/masternode)

And what are the minimum coins needed for each of the methods?

Also, is there a known fee reward (estimation) or a calculator?

I am thinking to get into the WAVES world.

Its to shakedown the weak hands, if you won't dump yours when the price it back to $0.45, you'd gain much soon. The whales are doing their usual thing so this will be a dog eat dog world , the richer gets richer.

Go to any of the sites listed here under Generators: http://dev.pywaves.org/generators/

Open your WAVES wallet and under the "L" tab it will allow you to input an address for leasing to one of the generators.

Once per week the amount of fees and tokens you have collected from leasing will be sent to your WAVES wallet.

There is no minimum number for leasing.

Earnings will be based on how many WAVES you leased and the amount of transaction fees that users are spending.

The number in the bottom right-hand corner of the link posted above shows an estimation of revenue per day for every thousand WAVES leased.

WAVES is still a very small network in relation to other cryptocurrencies that have been running for much longer. Over time it is expected that as more users get on board and pay more fees the revenue you make from leasing will increase accordingly.

I hope this answers some of your questions.

If you want to run your own node, the generating balance of your account needs to be at least 10,000 WAVES.

I'd never dump my Waves, the project is best in crypto...looking forward for incoming months and all the new releases. But I think you ment when the price is back at 4,5$

how profitable is being a masternode?

In the moment not really.

You can check here, what you can earn on average per 1000 WAVES: http://dev.pywaves.org/generators/. Interesting is the value in the bottom right corner. Currently the average revenue per 1000 WAVES per day is 2616.95 Satoshi. If you convert this to WAVES, it's 0.0167 WAVES. Per month about 0.5 WAVES per 1000 WAVES = 0,05%. If you have got 10,000 WAVES you will earn 5 WAVES. Not a very good ROI Smiley.

It becomes even worse, if you don't own the 10,000 WAVES yourself, but some are leased to you. In this case you have to pay a share of the earned fees to the lessors.

So, why should one currently run a node? We do this, because we believe in WAVES and want to help the community. Additionally, we have got an IT background and are interested in how everything works.

If you are interested in leasing your WAVES and earn some WAVES/MRT without any efforts, I would be happy, if you leased them to us. Currently we offer 120% of all earned WAVES and 100% of all earned MRT. Please check here for details: WavesMine.com.
