This last minute acceleration in buying looks like insiders buying with borrowed bitcoins ... they knew this ICO was successful days ago so they've got plenty of ICO funds to pay back loans. I just don't believe FOMO explains the last 24 hour surge
Can it be just rigged system? There needs to be an audit of the website and code to actually check if it wasn't tampered. they don't have to rig anything, they just borrow bitoins and buy WAVES in the ICO, then pay back the loans with bitcoins they KNOW they've got coming to them when the ICO funds are released. net effect is their own share of waves is a lot higher, and the actual funds raised is smaller, but with the amount they had 48hours ago they know they had plenty for development. every ICO is prone to this, but maybe WAVES insiders are a bit too obvious. I don't even know if it would be illegal, but obviously unethical |

i swear these ICOs attract the worst kind of investors. They don't bother to read the OP,they don't bother to get informed, they don't even bother doing the math. Just senseless "To the moon" talk...no wonder so many people are scammed here...you make it WAAAYYYY too easy.

I hate to be that guy, but why no one reports on major news? I think news about collecting more than 13m USD should be everywhere on every single at least bitcoin news sites.

1. Those news posted on many sites, 2. Better if devs team make marketing company after mainnet launched (or even after source code would be audited) on many cryptoworld sites and finance newspapers. |

For anyone else who isn't Albert, waves specializes in fiat integration, crowdfunding and asset to asset trading. Eth and waves have 0 to do with each other and its kinda like asking what advantages an apple has over a orange. Totally different.

Anyone notice a lag in getting confirmations at waves ICO site? It's been almost 30 minutes with not the first confirmation. All the rest of the deposits I made were confirmed real quick, +/- 20 minutes.

I agree, I'm in it for the long haul. This project has huge upside potential. It wouldn't bother me if it takes another month, in fact that would even be better I think. Make the people that didn't get in sweat a little bit, then launch on the exchanges. |
