I hope WAVES launch will be smooth like a ship sailing on calm waters and i will happily hold this coin long term, make no mistake about that.  

I did invest in Lisk, but  sold asap when it hit Polo down to the fact the launch was such a mess.  Certainly not comparing the two, its easy to see WAVES has a far more Professional Business minded team and WAVES  has a solid long term future (unlike previously mentioned coin).

Really excited about Waves, keep up the fantastic work team!

that's true for gamblers. BTC price going up or down will not dictate the true value of Waves. Waves might go up or down in short term, but I think will be much more profitable in long term. Just my two cents!

The space for WAVES is not already taken by several.

The NXT A/E was nice and tested but had no funding and hardly any form of a comprehensive team.

WAVES focuses on deep fiat integration which it and many other alternatives do not.

It will also legally compliant with KYC/AML with third parties. This element is likely to be expanded given the concern around AML and I see it as an important aspect.

It will also have one of the largest fundraisers in crypto history and a community to match, which it's apparent 'alternatives' do not.

It also has a focus on mass user adoption allowing for maximum potential.

It also has team members which specialise in the fields they are wanting to pursue e.g. integration with fiat gateways.

Lisk was not exceptional by any means. I don't know how you can say waves is already taken and then say LISK is exceptional. It's delusional.

WAVES gathered a huge amount in funding (more than LISK), made a partnership with mycelium and sascha-s previous assets are traded on Polo.

ok, we got it. You know lots of good or better projects ! So why are you here? You should be concentrating in the good projects instead of wasting your time here. No one here needs any advice. Most of us have college degrees and have read the Waves articles and its FUTURE potential. I don't gamble here, the easiest way is to go to a casino if that's what you like. Waves hasn't even launched yet and people like you bashing and intimidating the naive, but for most of us it sounds like a whisper of the grasshopper .

However if you just take the LISK launch for example. Millions of the currency we're traded in volume over the first 24 hours with the same supply limit. Therefore even if you add in the bounties you would still be making a massive return.

He doesn't realize that potential investors don't care about his little whispers in this thread. What he does succeed in instead is to make this forum an even bigger shithole. When I joined this forum 2.5 years , we had competition, but without the lambo pic spams and without the trolls of different projects swarming in to eachothers threads.

NXT was first real 2.0 tech. All projects are working, are tradeable and are paying dividends from more than a year.

I am using NXT and first its first decentralized asset exchange from 1 year and 6 months and i am the same receiving dividends all the time.

NXT roadmap is not my concern above that all assets will migrate to Waves platform.

all true. i got the sense that the long delay between Lisk closing and then launching built up a significant amount of additional buy pressure that was then released when Polo went live. the volume of trading in the first 48 hours was very impressive. as bonus Waves are being distributed before trading begins i would be concerned that this additional supply side volume hitting the exchanges on day one might adversely impact the price in the short term.

i'm thinking that it *might* be worth risking that the opening day of trading may see a price sub the ICO. this thread is not making the absurd "10x" claims of The DAO thread - sanity prevailing.

I'm not sure if it would help though. but having them available to trade during the trading starts gives a better picture when trade volume is presented right there and then.

I was just wondering if it is possible yet to say what TIME of day WAVES will be launched on the exchanges on the 14th of June?

Will it be on the stroke of midnight, and if so, which time zone? I love to see the birth of a new coin and always make time on launch to see what happens on the exchanges.

if waves can wait til halving is over, maybe its a good time to release it. but for now sasha and the rest of the waves team can simply develop the rest on the roadmap.
