Guys while I was considering to invest in Waves I've taken a close look at the DAO chart.
:/ And it's a shame it is sold below the ICO price, all the participants lost their money. To much hype around the coin.

I think the time of ICOs is over, who will buy if everyone takes part in the ICO?
Why should anyone pay more just after the end of the ICO if he could participate in it.

The only right decision I am going to take is to invest afterwards, as I like the project but I don't wanna get DAOed at the end of the day!

Be smart invest in Waves but not during the ICO!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

well, i invest because later no one will ever sell me a coin worth $10 for $0.20 each. if for some time each wave will be worth $2, its going to be a lot than the ico price.
isn't this what we expect? once thier projects get to be done, more investors will buy the token.

For reaching 2$ per coin you've to get a market capitalisation of 200 000 000$ thats 6 times the LISK market cap price!

That would happen.

Market cap of Waves would surpass Ripple!

I sent BTC to ICO from an exchange. I hope nobody will say it should not be sent from an exchange. There is no "only send from a wallet for which you control the private keys" warning on the ICO page so I've worked on the basis that sending from an exchange is OK. Tell me I was right... Cheesy

Get ready for WAVES vs LISK

1 WAVES = 2 LIKS  Grin

Please don't!  Lips sealed

----------------------------------------------------
Please do not miss this post, frequently asked information:

https://blog.wavesplatform.com/post-ico-calendar-1b1ccbe93d05#.gr7cy6xop

"We’d like to clarify some things regarding our post-ICO timeline, I can see that there’s some confusion.
Our goal is to proceed fast but minimize all risks with high load, network instability etc
hence the plan:

June, 1 — our ICO ends

June, 2 — June, 14
—Addresses can be generated in the litewallet on mainnet and added to user profiles at ICO sites
 — Withdrawals can be requested, and they are being processed.
 — Bounties for SM following, signatures etc. are credited

After we’re finished with this, we proceed to listing at exchanges. So we’ll move fast, but efficiently.

Waves Team.
"

sounds like it would take more than two weeks to actually achieve these. signature campaign participants is almost 800 not to count social media participants.

That would happen.

Market cap of Waves would surpass Ripple!

I was just wishing to surpass DASH but Ripple? awesome!

I hope so, but at this point all speculations. I just don't understand people participate in an ICO and then sell it on day 1 of release. Does anyone do any research ? Or just want quick profit ? Waves has already contracts with big companies like Mycelium and it is just the beginning. Be patient if you can and see Waves grow !

dammnit, number of waves in my account dropping like flies. Yes, I know, they get more valuable (or it could be, like someone else said, just more diluted) but somehow I like to see the larger number  Grin

no problem at all. I've sent from Exchange as well. All is good as long as you have your ICO account and your personalized BTC address which I'm sure you do.

I have just made a calculation and it seems I will get more waves with the social media and signature campaigsn than my 0.25 deposit. Smiley The amount of waves really started to drop in the last days.

Get ready for WAVES vs LISK
I love the excitement in the air, but quite frank it's comparing apples and oranges. Waves is a revolutionary idea and when/if implemented, it will surpass ETH and others.

What I was saying was compare the amount invested to the DAO. Way overbought at about $150M invested. Waves has much more room to work with. Not saying that a $10M marketcap is insignificant. That's actually really great for Waves so far. I'm very excited for launch day and the future of the Waves Platform. Cheesy

There are a few things I know- One is that LISK is a decent coin with good potential.  The other is that Waves is a Great Coin with better potential and a very professional team and approach.

The third and final thing I know is that iambitcoin5 is here to spam this thread like he did the Lisk thread. Here are a few statistics about his postings:

He has made 954 total posts:
154 about Scrypt.cc - big scam
780 about Lisk
20 about Waves

What that shows is that you have a tendency to spam threads to get your post count high and collect bounties.

Please do not do here what you and your buddy cabanabanana or what ever his name is did on the LISK thread.

He just confirmed what you was saying, very unfortunate

the Sig campaign lends itself to this

@chesthing,

Please don't quote trolls.

Best,

Jian

I don't understand what the censorship is about - he has a valid concern. This isn't a moderated thread.

The text with the images is a lie, the images show coins that started trading WAY ABOVE their ICO price and the following dump after was still 2x-3x the ICO price. The post is a lie, but seems it's effective, because people like you believe it without thinking.

I hope WAVES launch will be smooth like a ship sailing on calm waters and i will happily hold this coin long term, make no mistake about that.

I did invest in Lisk, but  sold asap when it hit Polo down to the fact the launch was such a mess.  Certainly not comparing the two, its easy to see WAVES has a far more Professional Business minded team and WAVES  has a solid long term future (unlike previously mentioned coin).

Really excited about Waves, keep up the fantastic work team!

If you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly

waves are overbought. it will go down as a rock.

there is not much community support and I dont know if the people understood the private chain principle. its closed, centralised etc.

good i am just with small amount of playmoney inside.

If btc keeps going up, first days buyers will dump on launch, that is true

Do we really have to trade this at Yoshit-Yobit though?

Polo or Bittrex launch would be much better
