Despite the fact that the devs have stated in this thread that buying from Yobit will result in no coins. Gotta say that it's not gonna be fair on anyone whi missed the comments in this thread. I don't think this is the right way to go about it. It was obvious it would happen as it did with lisk.
Yobit will still get the coins that they bought in ico which they can send to users from their own private wallet. Its not a total loss for people buying on yobit other than paying high prices. Yeah, but what I don't get is how people can sell Waves on Yobit if you cannot deposit !?!?! I'm assuming you cannot. Sorry, but I never used Yobit and I also think I will never do that. I mean, I can understand who want a huge quick profit, but I don't understand who's buying at that price. So, are they basically selling their own Waves ? Only YoBit is issuing the tokens. It's a token they have created as an IOU, transferable to Waves on launch. no ico investors have any tokens there. It's all issued by Yobit. |

hope everybody does know that the buying and selling of waves on yobit, is yobit itself, just driving up price.
most likely of the 262 btc volume they show....90-99% is themselves churning coins to higher prices.
Yeah, that's what I initially thought actually.. That's funny btw.. I mean, it's a joke that pretends to be an Exchange  |

yobit may not get full node code, but they will still, I assume get their tokens....cant stop that. I and saksham and others who did not open account before ico closed .....seems at this point wont be getting our tokens say it aint so  I'm in the same situation  I can't register an account on ICO site.. When was made the announcement? That's not fair!!! What account you cant register on ICO site? If you bought some WAVES, that means you already have an account there. Please be more clear. |

I havent checked how much but lets just pretend its 1000 waves. They put a tracker called waves on the site with a quantity of 1000 and people have bought at whatever price yobit put it at. Atm no one can withdraw or deposit so all that can happen is internal trading of a token called waves on yobits site. Once yobit actually receive the real waves then they can send those waves to whoever has bought them from the yobit site. |

The Yobit price is way too high. I am all for WAVES going up but it is a bit rediculous (just like when LISK was there.) That said, consider something: The "market cap" of WAVES is around 16 million. If it even remotely touches its potential (and we are EARLY in this game - the first adopters), we are talking so much more. The thing about WAVES that the market probably loves (which is why we saw large amounts coming in at the end) is that is sort of plays the game by the rules of the financial industry. Chew on that.  |
