Waves is like ground hog day. Twiggy Cheerleader is constantly telling us how good they are with all the testing. Problem is every deadline has been missed multiple times. Within a week, major news in August ( ), we're adding extra functions which will be much better (oh and by the way that means it will be longer). The Assholes running the slack just banning anyone and everyone with a "different opinion". KarlKarlsson, quote "Start accepting other opinions please" You fucking hypocrite!!! OMG, banned so many people including myself for exactly this. Guy sounds like a real arrogant prick. Maybe some do FUD too much but I never did, and many others didn't either. They just didn't like the questions they couldn't answer (didn't want to answer). The slack thread just became a North Korean chat room where Sasha is the Leader we cannot say bad about. I still own waves, but sold out 80% at around 30k. I will hold the rest. Maybe one day "soon" they will stop testing testing testing and adding other features and actually release!! I live in hope... Waves in itself could be successful (and I sure hope it is), but the Management are clearly clueless on PR. I do think Twiggy has remained very professional in his responses, but no offence, his replies offer not much other than putting a positive spin on delay after delay. Maybe "soon" he can actually talk about delivering something. Waves team raise 30k BTC here, and now say we're unimportant!! Shame on you!! The sad truth once again.

Yes, close this thread. It will stand testament to how terribly the community around WAVES has been managed. What could have been a great, positive community is now just a sad heap of negativity.
And it will stay that way until they pump waves to the moon and then all will be forgiven just you wait and see.

Maybe "soon" he can actually talk about delivering something. Waves team raise 30k BTC here, and now say we're unimportant!! Shame on you!! I'm not going to prove anything to everyone. For what? I only hope most of us here are adults who have a good head on their shoulders. To be honest I do not care about your insults. Why should it to disappoint me? Because of this with me may happen something bad? Because of this I must to sell my Waves? No. Every day the team members are spend a lot of personal time to answer questions from the community and even repeated questions and even on weekends in the Slack chat. And then so many people say that we have a weak communication with the community? It sounds so rude and not respectful to the team members. Or do you think we are the robots? If someone has been blocked, so, for it was a good reason. If you want to say that we do not care about our investors. Let me say it again - If we do not care about our investors and the destiny of our project, in this case we would have already announced half-ready, full of bug the program code. But nevertheless the Waves team are spent about 75000 Waves for the public testing of testnet nodes on the last week. This amount was distributed among 150 participants. And this is a fact. "Shame on you" For what? For the fact that we continue to work and do not run away with a bunch of money like other "crypto projects"? Okay.

All crypto are down not only Wave. Again Dev's are actively working on the project. Just be patient
Not all are down there are still coins that are above their ICO price cos they properly take care their investors. Lisk for example) It's x2 ico price. I think we need to wait and believe at this coin.

how long to patient? the price waves is always down price waves 26k right now.
Waves is based on the Scorex framework. As written in this thread, "Scorex is intentionally not production-ready". Unlike some other coins which are often derived from Bitcoin, it is new source code, written from scratch. The Waves developers already improved it a lot, and all testing is good, but I think it will need some more months until it is ready for production. See the github issues list, there are still 9 known open bugs, some are very critical, only 3 closed so far. And most probably even after the release there will be some bugs on the main net. The good thing is that it is written in Scala, so infamous buffer-overflow bugs as possible in C/C++ are impossible with it, and the language allows to write much cleaner and more compact code, which means later new features can be implemented faster. All this discussion over banning and even closing this thread, but this guy's post has my hairs up more than all the infighting. Twiggy, it is obvious that you are exasperated by the direction the thread is going, but could you address this post's claim that Waves is likely MONTHS away from release? That is the larger issue, I think. Also, closing our open forum would likely panic a lot of Waves holders. One might think it a deliberate attempt to buy back your own coins cheap before the release...

I am completely calm, why should I worry? Because of the price? Or because of the delays? It is a strange reasons to worry right now. By the way, I do not have permission to close this thread.

Funny how this once promising project morphed into a Paycoin clone, how Sasha became a censoring cult leader in the guise of Josh Garza and his former rabid guardians turned into haters. Wait until they hit the ''regulations'' roadblock, then the real shitstorm will commence.

By the way a good thought from Slack right now: It is understandable that Sasha`s etas and short answers can be misleading and they often are, Sasha often means by them - new release on testnet is coming, it will be always like this, before any feature appears on mainnet it will be first released on testnet and tested, the same is happening now in last weeks with new updates for nodes, and it is good they are coming, if something strange appears in meantime it needs to be fixed and new eta is appearing, still it is not slowing down different things and they will be added asap, we won`t bypass it, it will change when full nodes are finally released as waiting for features alone should be different story

Its almost impossible to the holders to hold when things like these happen every day. One would want to believe the price will someday go up but its the opposite that happens and it happen gradually. Time is wasted as well.

Thank you for your prompt response, Twiggy, though it wasn't substantive in addressing the concern of months of fixes. I hope I am not one of the new faces being "negative." I believe in this project, hold 58k Waves, and am justifiably concerned about release dates and the price tanking. If team delivers bug-free nodes in September I'll be happy. If it takes them till October or November I will have lost faith in Waves team's transparency and objectivity.

Scrooge McCrypto, I doubt it will be months until production because they simply cant afford it. They have (potential) partnerships announced that have their own roadmaps too, like this bitscan and of course mycelium. I don't know if these will wait for them, will they? Those github issues, maybe some of them are fixed already in the test environment and not yet uploaded to github. Maybe it will be done in batch. I do not know that much but maybe some of these bugs aren't even that critical for main nodes to be released. I mean I guess the bitcoin code also isn't 100% bug free or something like that (no software is).
