Two weeks seems like a long time to wait, but I just know the waves team will deliver... there's to much money tied up into the project. I still think the delays have been strategic but that's just my opinion. Timing is everything... perhaps that's been the thinking by the devs.
No doubt they have a release strategy, although that strategy must be informed by the stability of the network more than external timing factors. Ideally they would have released full nodes before the Incent ICO launch, or even just after the Bitfinex hack. Now the plan is to release nodes at same time as assets, I think, as a double-whammy. Lets hope Bitcoin isn't too bullish that week, as that might dampen the enthusiasm here. Incent ICO has only raised 15% of it's investment cap so far, as many potential investors likely want to see a healthy return on our Waves before selling for another coin.
Will they release on Oct. 23rd? No idea here. Nor can I decipher the info on GitHub to inform how many coding issues are solved. This link suggests 6 issues resolved, 21 still open. Again, I don't know how to interpret this data.
https://github.com/wavesplatform/Waves/issuesYou don't need to imagine any strategy, as clearly , if there was any strategy, it would involve fucking up the ICO investors by default.
The simpliest answer is the most right, according to occam's razor, Sasha made promises since the beginning that never became true, and you know what ? The same applies right now. The difference is that he did not say "Absolutely" this time, which is good.
Perhaps , he starts to understand that it creates damages to tell things that end up false ?
Well, I learnt that in kinder garten, not after someone give me 15 Million $ btw.
, but it's never too late.
