Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Has anyone compared the creation of assets based on byteball vs assets based on waves?

Waves is the great opportunity to do a good investments for a long time. The more and more ico will be held on this platform, and Waves will take part of the market from Ethereum.

Hey guys,
We are thinking about holding ICO at Waves platform. Got one question now. Let's say we will issue our own token and will be selling it at Waves DEX. The question is, what happens to the unsold tokens? I get it that they will stay in our wallet, but shouldn't they be somehow burnt? What is the best practice here?

Wouldn't a limited supply therefore hinder it?

No.
Why not? Isn't it better for the coin to have limitless capacity? Or am I not understanding the way these contracts and tokens work? Aren't they somehow connected to the coin cap?

No that is the problem with fiat money.  You may benefit from doing some reading on basic economics.

It is done retweet already ! Waves is keep on going without stopping. I must say current floor which was acquired recently is looking stable and new bottom for the next rise. Where I bought I don't have any worry to wait and to see changes and will wait for the fully developed platform without limiting with time.

I have some waves on my address according to http://www.wavesgo.com/
But the balance on waveswallet.io (both web and app) is 0. There is also no transaction history, even though I definitely made some exchange transactions.
I also get the following error message on the exchange tab: "no such pair or one of the asset doesn't exist".
Any idea what the problem is?

I don't know, why wavesgo does show some waves on your balance. You could check additionally http://wavesexplorer.com/. Exchange transactions are currently not listed on wavesgo, I think on wavesexplorer neither.

Wavesexplorer is not responding at the moment, but on wavesgo I can see the exact balance that I should have:

The problem is not there, but on the waves wallet that gives me a balance of 0.

Would be nice to hear back from people on the know about these problems.  I dont think this is the first time this has happened.

Happened to me too occasionally,
When it does I could tell by looking at dashboard next to my address, block would be 0
further I checked on devtools chrome, the page is spewing lots 403 errors
but if disconnect my modem and get new IP then re login, it turns back normal
so I'm no sure whether it's error or simply the server rejecting connection from specific origins

it's universally true that if you store the data locally there are less chances that your data will be stolen. However, it's all dependant on your opsec... if I don't need to access the account every day (if it's a HODL account) then I just have the private key and address stored somewhere secure and that's that. No need for wallet.
