Devs and roadmaps ? There is gossip, that at least one of the devs is a romantic, sentimental burbon drinker, poker high-roller and a passionate american muscle car afficionado. While devs are "finishing their masters" or "analyzing protein-protein interaction networks", this dev likes to enjoy his time with one of these extraordinarily tasty Romeo y Julieta cigars at his favourite gentlemen's club. And while other devs are busy photographing themselves and "intellectually masturbating" together a sleek eloquent resume, this dev is skipping all that and can be found busy touring india in his 20 year old duct-tape fixed sailing yacht or enjoying a few caipirinhas plus some real authentic streetfood in the wonderful lively streets of rio de janeiro. Hope this helps a bit ;-)

Hey, don't know if you already thought about that, but I think it would be cool if you could "name" parts of the arrays, so you could use them pretty much like variables (or smaller arrays). This would help distinguish parts of the arrays and what they are supposed to do (i.e. using descriptive variable names). The names would be dismissed by the compiler, just like comments. You cold probably simply use the "search and replace" tool to achieve that, but having it built in would be nice either way. I'm guessing you wouldn't have liked the early days of computers when all we had was assembly & machine code Anything can be added, but every change takes time to code / test. I think it would be best (and I think it was mentioned before) that someone keep a running list of suggested enhancements.

Pretty much everything EK does is java based, so it should run on all platforms...the miner is a different story.

I thought the average price of Xel would be exchanges. Compared with golem project..(i know, there is no mainnet release, its trading on shit exchange which is name Liqui. it should give us a chance to foresee) bcz elastic and golem projects have got almost the same goals/aims...
nowadays, Golem price about 1Cent - Golem total supply: 1 billion.
Elastic total supply: 100million.
Xel price should be 10cent, also elastic have own-programming-language (Elastic PL) and there is no premined coins (golem have 400million premine coins)..
So, When Xel released mainnet, exchange base price maybe 15 Cent. Is this possible?

XEL will be best pick for most exchanges. ppl will rush to it no doubt. I don't like to discuss price and speculation here. but it seems we can't avoid talking that at this very moment. everything is possible now and keep a vision for future. 1.5dollar is my goal. lol too bold ?

I think it would be best (and I think it was mentioned before) that someone keep a running list of suggested enhancements. Well, probably, yeah. Although, I could have started by learning javascript or python, but chose the nunchucks: http://bjorn.tipling.com/if-programming-languages-were-weapons I'm not sure whether this needs to be implemented directly. I guess C uses libraries just as C++ does? I don't see #includes in the screeshot, is ElasticPL supposed to have libraries? If yes, the easiest may be to simply "outsorce" it to a library? You're right about the suggestions list… I wouldn't say competitor, at least not in the short to mid-term. The projects go at the issue from very different angles, which means that they are very suited for some tasks and not so much for others and, coincidentally, they don't really "overlap" much. With further development, this may change in the future.

Whether or not it's in a header file, someone has to write and test it. Unless we get more help, I'm hoping we limit the number of changes at this point. The miner is already way behind all the new ElasticPL changes as it is. It will probably be at least a week or two before I can get caught up with EK's changes.

Elastic is a Decentralized SupercomputerShort InfoElastic Project is a non-profit community driven website, created by and for the developers, other community members and those interested in this project, to surge information and helpful advice on everything related to Elastic. The Mainnet is not yet online! But we have a public testnet running, looking for nasty bugs to fix! Learn how to setup a testnet node here or use the public node to get a first glance.

Well, to avoid "shooting down nodes" my exceeding their memory, we have this comcept.
Every program has a fixed memory, and only there it can either write values to or read values from. A program coded in Elastic PL can use 64000 integers in the m[] array 1000 floats in the f[] array and 100 big integers in the b[] array.
Those arrays are just there, magically, and no new variable can be declared programatically.
Thats sounds pretty good EK, your screenshots are dangerous... They somehow nearly awakened my old well-forgotten passion for programming What is the size of integer here in ElasticPl? Are floats 32bit or more like C double? What is big integer..? How "big"? Is there a simple doc or wiki on this? And one more question - it looks like Elastic editor is not just an editor, but is an IDE which has a debugger too..? Is that correct? If thats a case, that would be amazing!
