Yes, bad things happen in both enterprise and open source projects. Yes, it can happen we all know that. There is no answer to that problem even at huge corporate institutions. Having witnessed the growth of this project over 1.5 years, I strongly believe in it. Also, I think my posts are very witty and intelligent. Not spam at all. I am honestly just excited and finally have time for this project. Thank you. Wow Joe, really pumping out that spam! Keep up the good work! Is this what you're trying to hide with all your spamming? I think the new leads in this project owe the public an explanation of the things that went wrong in the previous "iteration", and, more importantly, what steps were taken to ENSURE that this will not happen again this time.
I am yet to see this, just deleted posts and blog entries on THEIR OWN WEBSITE.
It's never going to happen. The fact that they delete posts is extremely suspicious. The fact that they attack anyone who questions them is even more suspicious. Guilty conscience, probably.
The new dev is anonymous just like Lannister, so he could disappear at any moment too. Major exchanges don't like to list coins with anonymous devs, so the price will probably never go up.Or maybe all this: Status of Lannister and the ICO funds http://archive.is/zoyYa
April 15, 2017 by Unvoid
Lannister is gone. ICO funds are gone. We don’t know why. We don’t know if we ever see him again. It’s not like “he took all the funds and run away” because before disappearing he rewarded some of community members with some BTC for their work. He mentioned that he have some health problems also. That’s all we know now. Now they have ANOTHER anonymous dev (surprise!) who could just as easily do the same thing. For all we know it may be the same guy. Their original launch was also extremely suspicious and the creator of that thread has disappeared mysteriously (noticing a pattern here?): Agreed this is one of the clearest examples of a scam I've seen in recent times. Well done for trying to warn people about it. It started with a newbie account whose real-life name was supposedly "Lionel Keys" posting as ElasticCoin. Immediately a few of us pressed for some kind of info to verify his identity (given it was an ICO without escrow), which he said would be coming soon. In the mean time I began finding Evil-Knievel's behaviour in the thread extremely suspicious. He wasn't (publicly) in charge of the probject at this point but from the start was shilling hard (talking about how much he'd invested) and answering the bulk of the questions that were intended for the dev. It was obvious to me he was involved with the project whilst pretending not to be.
Every post from the ElasticCoin account was subsequently deleted from that thread (presumably when they realized they'd messed up and that there was no way to hide how shady the whole thing was), Lionel Keys disappeared (abandoning a project he'd supposedly spent months working on and preparing) and Evil-Knievel suddenly emerged as project lead.
I haven't enough time to dig through it, but here's the original thread. Evil-Knievel has also deleted every single post he made in that thread, though enough of his and ElasticCoin's original posts have been preserved in quotes in replies to show you what's going on here.
Deleted original ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1362006.0 Actually, the answer is simple: Transparency. Anonymous devs = no accountability. They can dump all their shares, take all the donations, and disappear any time. Then they can do it again with the next coin. That's why exchanges like Bittrex don't list coins with anonymous developers anymore.

Nope, open-source. Their choice.
Positive contributions will be taken into the repo. ... As far as I know, I certainly do not make those decisions. Github, see you out there, folks.
Writer's critique, this document is excellent: https://heatnodes.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/xel-heat-ae.pdf Positive contributions will be taken into the repo. ... As far as I know, I certainly do not make those decisions. Github, see you out there, folks.
Beers on a Friday.
That border's sizing is soooo offf. Oh my goodness.
I once wrote this guide. https://www.linode.com/docs/github-guideIt's much different now, then when I wrote it. Here is what I wrote: https://github.com/linode/docs/blob/6c777b4e4635ff51d04a6317ecd9a68288820897/docs/applications/development/developing-git-github.mdI like my version better, but we ran an internal open-source structure. Things change, what are you going to do.
It's a first draft. None of this is official for anything. Can anybody take this and make it better? Maybe, lightning bolts instead of arrows. Anything better. I'll mess with it again at some point. Ideas? No good? Is stuff like this worth it? Maybe mess with the IO fonts/color.

I never really understood the psychology of the hater.
I think it branches from insecurity. They see others who are talented and put themselves out there on a project like this. Something wildly technical and with a working prototype. So, to make themselves feel better; to make themselves feel like the hero; they have to bring hate.
They have nothing to offer of actual value, but to remedy their inner being they have to tell everyone else that they are bad.
I love how you keep responding to yourself in a desperate attempt to hide unflattering posts. Really paints a picture of mental stability These days, people who try to save other people from scams aren't called "haters". You may need to update your dictionary! If scammers hate me, I'm fine with that. Look, EK is a great dev, one of the best in crypto, and he was already doing well financially when this project started, so he supports himself financially and works on Elastic coz he wants to. There's no mystery here, guys like EK are like musicians, actors, artists - they mostly pick projects based on things other than money, which is different to most people. I work in an office, and wouldn't set foot in the place if I didn't get paid, but I'm also a musician, and I play gigs all the time for free, coz I like playing music, and the gigs I play are rewarding in other ways. The Lannister mystery is just that, a mystery, but it's got nothing really to do with EK. I knew of EK from the days when he discovered the 3rd critical error deliberately left by BCnext in the NXT code, so there's no doubt EK is a superior coder working for the love of his craft. If you don't see that then that's ok, but most people following elastic do.

This is what it looks like when I am goofing around in there.
Getting cooler.
We need to get elastic.pw at the top of this search and other searches.
I have been screwing around with some design. I will write some quality content and point some traffic at elastic.pw from here: https://www.elasticproject.org/

This. I had a tough time finding web wallet for XEL. The one at older site no longer works. One cannot register for a new web wallet there. I will ask some web masters to make news posts about XEL. --------------- XEL-7DDF-QFCF-LCMG-6KMRY

That is a very good place though because we can catch up quick. Writing theory and doing pure web, no backend stuff, can be done a lot faster than the core engineering. Signing with your XEL account already. I like it. We need sites pointing to elastic.pw with various anchor text. Maybe I'll do some keyword research. That is really what SEO is all about, proper, ethical backlinking and quality content.

Well, obviously something is goin on. Does anyone know how to move XEL to Bittrex? Sure, go to the wallet > send XEL 1. add XEL recipient 2. click on add message 3. paste the message bittrex gave you 4. UNFLAG (important) encrypt message Try with a small testing amount first.

Front page of Bittrex. Guys and gals, this is still a hold scenario. I'm thinking there are a lot of people like me out there. Now that we finally have a real tangible stake in the project, we can spend some real quality time helping out.

Trying to send BTC to Bittrex and it's taking ages Good luck! We are number 11 on Bittrex and we didn't start trading until afternoon on a Saturday/US-holiday-weekend. Let that sink in.

If it dumps, I am buying. The core engineers are not concerned about price. If this were about price, we still have 786789698 moves left to play. It's not. And, that's the mark of the real-deal.I' m just fearful it's going to dump, happened with MYST and QRL
Now, that one, I would call about %50 mine. Graphic design and open-source work well together. Look, it's really simple. If you are selling on the Trex, set your sell price as the ask. Protect yourselves and your teammates.
We have wildly talented people on this project. Don't sell yourself short.
Now, that one, I would call about %50 mine. Graphic design and open-source work well together. I slapped it together in literally 5 minutes, but it's just quality enough for the lead graphic for a story about elastic on a major exchange. Feel free to use any of these graphics fellow writers. I think this is the best so far. I am only getting started.
When you set your sale price as the Ask, instead of the last or the bid, you are protecting our price by just a little bit, but little by little adds up. We have a fixed amount of coin at 100,000,000. Two, three, four, five dollars are reasonable prices.
If you are a big data technician, and you are looking for a pre-networked together supercomputer, then $5 dollars a token is very reasonable.
Think about how much it would cost to string together a bunch of AWS servers. We're open-source and decentralized. We are dirt cheap. We don't have overhead.

This project is very undervalued Anyway you run the numbers.
Who I have worked with/for:
That would be my guess. I don't know, but you don't crank out features like this over a year and a half because you don't believe in the project. I know how to eyeball developer-speed, and the guy is amazing. We worked through multi-signature transaction messages for Bitgo, who doesn't support it yet. Bitgo is a cutting-edge wallet and we're ahead of it.
I didn't realize NXT, pronounced like the word "next", was so impressive. Feature wise, it's an improvement on Ethereum. Mind blown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcpiOCA6fl4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEcU-Whfc7ghttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nxt
Incredible.

What are you smoking? Exactly how is NXT an improvement on Ethereum? Use the links. It basically is Ethereum and it's already POS. Oh, did we forget to mention we are already POS.
