Yes i do believe in fiat .in my country , bitcoin is accepted now where other than cash .thats why i have to sell my earned bitcoins and get it in fiat .with that fiat , i do my day to day transactions.

Huh? I don't get it, You said bitcoin is accepted now in your country and it is bitcoin dominates cash, then why you need to sell your earned bitcoins? If i were you I will not sell my bitcoins because that is great opportunity to maximize the usage of bitcoin because it is being accepted in your country and you don't need to worry about having a lot of money in your pocket because all you need is cellphone and internet.

that's right instead of converting it to fiat why not use it and start helping the chain just like the previous reply said all you need is just a smart device which can connect to internet and to your wallet and you are ready to go, it will make impact as well with btc if many people will start using it like you did mate.

In no way you were forced to use fiat at all. You can use bitcoins to buy everything but it will be foolish to do extensive effort just to do so. For example, you want to buy a banana in your local market. Since obviously the seller of the banana only knows fiat, you're required to find someone who's willing to accept bitcoins in exchange for a banana. You simply have to find a bitcoin user, let the bitcoin user buy the banana (in fiat) and then you'll pay him bitcoins in exchange for the banana. It's foolish, right? When you can just buy it using your fiat.

Nevertheless, you still can buy anything using bitcoins. You're just not ready for that extra effort (stupid effort) needed.

If you ask me, that's not very different from you just converting your bitcoins to fiat and buying that wretched banana yourself. The point is not making it look as if you bought something with bitcoins, the point is creating a real closed-loop Bitcoin economy where you buy things with bitcoins from a producer and producer uses Bitcoin proceeds to buy the stuff he needs and pay the staff he hires. We already have some tiny loops in place, but they are small and far in between, i.e. nowhere close to a full-fledged Bitcoin economy

It's true, stupid effort and probably extra tax for the guy who is being the middle man between you and the seller. Bitcoin is something to make our life easier, and this way it's being harder. To make it work well, all parts must accept bitcoins and minimize the necessity of middle men maximum as possible, until there it will be stupid effort.

I agree with your point. Bitcoin is giving us benefit so why not we permanently accept bitcoin and use it everywhere instead of fiat. In this way the demand of bitcoin will also be increased and the value of it will increase more high and the all the benefits will be for us.

There is no where your quoted comment tells that Bitcoin dominates cash.  As I see, he said that bitcoin is accepted in his country just like any other cash.  And so he convert his Bitcoin to cash because his daily needs use cash.

The word Fiat means that someone believe in something. So yeah people believe in fiat. Just because you dont believe in what others believe you dont have to adjust to their believe system.

You would have to make people not believing in fiat for you to be able to cooperate with them and not do as you would believe what they believe yourself.

Yup you're right. And i don't think there's any need to replace it with any other currency. Fiat can and will stand alone with all its features and i don't think that even with a faced paced technology we're having now, fiat would be irrelevant in time,no. Fiat would atill be there and may very well just move along with the current technology

See, that's sort of the problem with fiat. Only the government owns it and they are the only one that gives value to it. When they decided to pull out fiat, all of the fiat money that's with you will become valueless. And by valueless I mean like zero value. No one will accept your fiat anymore. This rarely happens and I'm not sure if this has happened before. What you should look up to is when your fiat gets devaluated and even trillion worth of your local fiat is not worth anything anymore. That can happen.

When you're using bitcoins, you're free from that issue. Even if your local fiat gets valueless, it's alright since you can exchange your bitcoins to any other fiat currency.

I agree with you. No country in the world is not ready to abandon its national currency. It hence is the government will support Fiat.

I think that this is already too much to think about that a thief can steal a suitcase full of money. Already one such amounts is not in the store.
