The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Same.  It's been slow since I joined a few days ago, but at least I could login.

My miners are working fine, and the widget can get through.  But I can't login.

Just got this when trying to login:

Firefox 12.  Having more success with ozcoin.net than ozco.in.

It would seem that the PPS payout amount is wrong.

50 / (1.05 * 1591074.9618473) = 0.00002993 BTC per share (rounded to 8 digits, double precision)

Current PPS rate displayed on the website:

0.00002985 BTC per share

This is a difference of about 8 satoshis per share or a difference of 4203 shares per block.

The difference is also equivalent to a fee of 5.28 % instead of 5 %.

Bitcoin: the only currency you can store directly into your brain.

What this planet needs is a good 0.0005 BTC US nickel.

You are dividing by difficulty + 5% not a 5% fee.  That means you are dividing 50 / 1670628.709939665

Your actual formula is 47.5 / difficulty, or (50 * .95) / 1591074.9618473.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

Ok, I got my math mixed up.

I did 50 / 1.05 instead of 50 * .95 to calculate the fee. (doh!)

I probably won't be able to get my math licence renewed next year.

Thanks for clearing this up.

*Sniff*

I'm leaving you.

*sniff*

It's not you, it's me.

*sniff*

I lie, it is you.

With a reject rate of always >1.5% (currently 2.2% over the last 2 days!)

I don't know why it should be, ping is the same as with EMC (60ms), but that has a reject rate of ~0.7%.

There's no settings to check. I mine on BFLs so there's nothing to change.
Using 1 instance of CGminer in load balance mode on EMC servers US2 & US2 and OZ US server ports 8332 & 80.
It's a direct comparison.
