got PM, now we are all standing in a circle scratching our heads
Sorry, not worth y'all's continuing to look into this. BTC shares now being accepted. I did two things. (Don't know which solved it.) 1) Set up a stratum mining-proxy. 2) Then looked at my "Pool Options" page and noticed that several settings had been lost. (Such as both payment addresses and I also was set to PPS instead of DGM.) Set / reset these all to what they should be.

"was set to PPS instead of DGM < makes it even weirder though." Perhaps not. (Blame it on user error.) Since I 'knew' I only did DGM at Oz, I probably only looked for the shares showing up on the "DGM Statistics" page. IOWs, btc accepted shares were probably showing up on the PPS Statistics page. And I do currently show an unpaid PPS balance under "User PPS Statistics" on the right hand side. Although, I have no explanation for how the nmc shares were being accepted and showing up in 'real time' on the DGM statistics page. Looks like I discovered a way to do DGM nmc concurrently with PPS btc mining. Just in case y'all need more head scratching. Regardless, all merely a curiosity at this point. -- edit -- Went back and looked. Appears that I did do PPS for a couple of days back in October immediately before I 'went away' for a while. So, again, user error about what I 'knew'.

PPS- yawn. DGM- not for me unless you pool is like 4000-5000Gh/s PPLNS - hurts my head with mathamagician stuff. Satoshi Dice - meh! POT - Mining BTC is a gamble and its fun again. Gambled and got a lucky share that boosted the payout substantially.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK THE FUN! Everytime I mine somewhere else your teams Ozawesomeness gets me to come back and play.
I really don't see why this is not a 5Gh/s or more pool all day long...Nice site, great people, fast support and nice features.

eu.ozco.in should be up now
I'd like to again encourage miners to move to stratum servers, unfortunately ecoinpool isn't being updated and also runs on an older version of bitcoind, unless we can get some updates those servers will be have to be decommissioned when block version2 takes over. Miners on stratum are finding very low stale rates and some have found it increases their hashrate slightly as the miner always has work cued cheers Graet

Hello,
I just encountered a behaviour wich should be checked if its a bug please.
I am using the stratum proxy in combination with the modular python bitcoin miner software and changed back from the POT method to DGM just now.
I also tried to change the vardiff setting from -1 to default.
So: when i enter 0 and save changes its fine.
when i leave the slot blank and hit save changes i get a reproduceable server internal error 500
Please someone check wether this is a problem specific to my sytem or not.
I wish happy christmas and holidays to everybody. Have a good time

Hi O_Shovah I get the error too, but we expect a value to be entered as per the text just below - I guess we will have to put an error page for people that don't enter anything Enter your Variable Difficulty for this worker here -1 = Dynamic, 1-10000 = User defined difficulty. Will change your difficulty without need of miner restart now. (Stratum only) We removed the 0 option as it was confusing some people (0 = default = 1 which miners can do easily anyway) Hope you have a great christmas best wishes Graet

I'm curious what this value is. It seems to always be the same and I can't find the equivalent on the web stats page: "pot_averageShare":0.7
