Thank you for the verification.

Since I explained it in a PM I might as well post it here.

Staking:

You can leave coins in the QT wallet, and make sure the wallet is open (un-encrypted, you can choose 'unlock for staking'). As long as the wallet is open for staking and you are connected to the network you receive interest rate on your coin (stake) every few minutes to hours (depending on your balance/weight in the network). It's payment for running a 'node' aka. verifying the block-chain by keeping your wallet open and recording transactions and also a way to keep inflation to a point where possibly used coins (fees etc.) are replaced by new ones.

Alrighty, giving/donating is what crypto is known for i suppose..

Quick question for anyone with the answer:    Does the wallet combine blocks when they get below a certain amount?

Not sure, I think staking just takes longer maybe I'm wrong.

It depends on the code , someone who knows what they are looking for can look at github & find out or the devs can answer. Im very interested in that 2!

It seems every stake is 2.8 GBT, so there are 2 possible scenario. 1. Staking takes longer for small amounts and stays at 2.8 GBT, OR 2. Staking is partial and bundled with full blocks. I can't tell since I own enough to always receive 2.8 GBT per stake.

Read this earlier in the thread

yes yes, we all own enough for that 2.8 stake.. and yes i understand the time it takes for different sized input blocks. The secret to fixed block staking is to have a large amount of inputs so that your weight is always large enough to constantly stake....

maybe allitle clearer: I want to let my inputs split on staking so i have a large amount of inputs to be eligable for the stake. I plan to stake my inputs into oblivion; which at a certain point my inputs either need to be combined manually or back my question: Does the stake automatically combine inputs under a certain amount, eg, under 100coins input will combine so the input block is over that threshhold... Pretty much, i want to set my wallet to stake and forget about it for a long period of time but dont want to end up with super tiny inputs that refuse to stake.. And i would rather not have to manually combine blocks on a daily basis...

DEV: if the inputs dont automatically combine can we please look into implementing this?

Mr ease, interesting question.  I know my stakes have staked (lol), but I'm not clear if the weight was 2.8 or some combined amount.  But I started out w/ only 3 Txns, so I was easily able to see my stake rewards generating blocks while the 3 big txns were still waiting for their 250 confirmations from earlier stakes.

It would be best if you point the dev into the direction of another coin that does this so that he can look at it. Which coin do you have in mind?

Have you read my quote and have you actually enabled coin control and look at your input block sizes? Your answer is right there.

I just looked back a couple pages and don't see a post about enabling coin control (I apologize if I missed it).  How do I enable coin control?

It's very exciting now that the coin is live. Im downloading my wallet and will start eating my stakes in about 240 minutes if all goes to plan. Id like to buy a few more GBT tho if anyone wants to sell. Im willing to pay up to 1400 sat for 1 BTC worth. If anyone wants to complete this with me please send me a pm but we must use escrow unless you are very trusted.

Comon etparle, you know better then that  Wink

1500 sat?  Huh

Whatever

ok. WTB 1 btc of GBT at 2000 sat.
Better?

If you are having problems buying at 2000 sat over the market, I'll sell you a BTC worth just to be nice (and cause I have a few)

Im always nice and Id love to make a deal with you but we will need to use an escrow. Maybe Daily can escrow it for us?!?

For we can split it into 2 transactions and I can send first. I doubt you would 'hit and run' for $200 Smiley That said, it seems trading is picking up so it might be easier for you to just buy over market. Your call.

We can do it in 2 transactions if you want to send first. Can we do it at 2000 sat?

Sure, Pm me your gbt address. Also, I am NOT selling at this price to anyone else so don't ask. This is just to be a nice person, and get more people involved.

That's very kind of you. I have sent you a PM.

I read your post. I appreciete you taking the time to post that information to make the users more aware.

although, I am quite aware how to select inputs and combine them manually (coin control),

I was curious as if there was a process built into the code that: When a stake occurs, it would automatically combine inputs under a certain coin amount if other inputs exist. But i believe that is a feature for the %based awards as low inputs wont stake...

My 1st stakes came in today. But I only got 2 stakes in 24 hours. That's no a lot but then again this is not a high rate pos coin in the 1st place.
How many stakes should i be earning with 65k coins or better yet can someone make us a staking calculator?

Polo is not impossible. If everyone fills out: https://poloniex.com/coinRequest
and Gamebet admins email them explaining the coin, etc. and offering to provide liquidity I think we can be on Polo pretty soon.
