Not just can, but it is. I think the majority of situations in which Bitcoin is used are in good causes. And unless I'm missing something about cryptos, the proportion of cases in which a currency is used for bad purposes is much greater when it comes to fiat currency.

Bitcoin is used a lot and I think that that is not wrong at all it has a good future and will be used more in the future.
It will be used for a long time and gets better and better.

If you want to do some donation then better be careful to whom you will give it to. There are a lot of frauds that have been circling in the crypto industry seeing they can do a lot of money here. One example is at steem community where there are a lot of posted fraud group that are helping.

i don't know where you even came up with what you just said because as long as the terrorists and the big ass drug lords have access to the easy transferable and easy traceable USD which is accepted anywhere and it is easy to do anything with, they won't look for an alternative

I use Bitcoins for recharging my mobile  and i have idea of using it for buying goods online. Mopst important use for me is that i get low wages abroad and i am able to send my earnings to my family in india at very low charges and very fast also.Similarly charitable institutions in poor countries also get utmost benefit when funds are sent through Bitcoins.

It seems that we both are in the same boat. I want to spend bitcoin at offline merchants but unfortunately there are almost no merchant in my city who accept bitcoins. I can only recharge my mobile and DTH when it comes to using bitcoins for my day to day life.
Yes we can use bitcoin in right sense but for that we need more options where bitcoin is accepted. I am optimistic and thus believe that we will have more merchants willing to accept bitcoin in future.

I agree.  Bitcoin is only a medium or a currency that can be use to buy stuff.  Whether it can be use to evil or good depends on he holder.  People are using bitcoin to fuel several projects .  Once I read about a scholarship being funded in bitcoin.  And a foundation accepting donation in Bitcoin and people donating to the cause in bitcoin.

Yes Bitcoin is a means of payment. And it is neutral, and how to use each chooses himself. As Bitcoin could be used as humanitarian aid to poor countries. I honestly think everything that has been associated with Bitcoin has a positive outcome... It's boosted trade with foreign countries significantly and even acts as a tool for numerous foreign places where the income levels are low.
