But it is mostly used for good and the illegal activities are now going to be reduced because the wallet providers and exchanges now ask for identification verification and if someone provide that documents for identification then they will not try to use their money for illegal act.

Government or not, no one can stop people with bad intentions to use fiat or Bitcoin, or whatever other valuable tool to purchase something that is against the law, or to finance terrorism for example. Other than that, the blockchain is open and transparent. In that matter high value transactions can be seen easily, but you can't see who or what is behind these transactions unless they send them from an exchange.

It's harder to track Bitcoin than it is to track Fiat (except if your government asks the ISP for each citizen's Internet history and see if you entered a Bitcoin Wallet on your computer), but it isn't impossible. It's not impossible to see whether someone has ever tried the Tor browser to access the Dark web either.

I agree it is not hard to track bitcoin as long as the addresses used was linked to some personality.  But if the bitcoin used does not link to any personality then, you cannot track the person behind those addresses.  Transaction is easy to see by simply looking at the blockchain, but tracking a person that never linked his identity online is another story.

The beauty of Bitcoin is that it is a multifunctional tool. People have several aspects to choose from that they can use Bitcoin for. If from all these features people can't find even one feature that they like, then something is wrong with them. It's probably the media that has affected these people quite a bit with all its negativity regarding Bitcoin. And the average joe people easily take everything the media is saying for granted. Even when they know you are right with saying that Bitcoin can help them move forward, then still they will be in full denial.
