What do you mean by it needs to grow a lot more? or do you mean to say that it needs to become popular first and people must be adopt it? Whether it is bitcoin or not, it can be used for good and bad. That is going to depend on how is the user will use it for his own good or bad motives. And much better if most of us will use it for good.

It was because of the people who uses it illegally as a medium of their transactions on Black market that bitcoin been known bad. But the reality that many common people who uses it now and earn profits on it shows that bitcoin is not really the issue its the users whom using it illegally. The services of bitcoin now offers lot of developments to be used for good intentions like for easily sending of money for family, buying and shopping online etc. Only if all people open their minds that it is really beneficial but we can't really please anyone for me its really good.

The deep web is a very interesting topic. People are so into it and bloggers write things about it a lot. They all say that bitcoin is the currency that is being used in the dark marketplace because everything's anonymous. I wouldn't disagree with them though because we all know that for a fact. The only problem is that people have been posting so much similar articles that bitcoin had the impression that it was made for the sole purpose of having transactions with the dark marketplace.

Nonetheless, we shouldn't be bothered at all since it doesn't affect us that much. If it would, it would affect us indirectly.

Definitely. It is all our choice how to use the blessings that were given to us. Bitcoin might be just a currency like fiat but we can harm people by using it in bad ways. For example, hiring a hit man from the dark net to kill your friend, etc. It's our responsibility to use bitcoins in a good manner to not harm or cause discomfort to other people.

That was the whole idea of the bitcoin to be used as a more fair view on the money. The concept of money is not neutral to say at least so it cant be doing bad from time to time. But yeah bitcoin can at least to imply that the world should be  at least   a little bit more fair. Having  a second look on bitcoin how its used as financial instrument of manipulation, money laundering  and such  might  give second thought, but noone have said that bitcoin would get mud dirty like a normal fiat.

I have  a huge issue with bitcoin being deflationary currency as it is  atm. Its not very mechanism for the ordinary  people but its awesome way to encourage savings. Like with everything in this inperfect world one  can only have a mixed feelings.

Bitcoin is probably not just being used for bad activities, there aren't as much bad people in the world as much good are there, so just like that in bitcoin world there are also too many good bitcoin users who are using bitcoin for just legal and good purposes, just because some of them are using it badly it does not mean bitcoin is being used just for bad things, it can surely be used for good too.
