Spending Bitcoins

in my country there are services that accept Bitcoin. You can pay utility bills and to pay for internet. But, I do not do that, because I think is now stupid to spend their Bitcoins when the price for it is growing.

As i have said many times before in this thread that the price could always go the other way too.
At this time during the last rally it would have been one of the best times to start spending your coins. so many people would have watched the price drop to about $200 thinking why didn't i just buy a few things when the price was $1000

Not saying we will see a drop like the 2014 one we seen even again but never say never.

This thinking of people like yours makes Bitcoin as a profitable assets just like gold. Why should we pay using Bitcoin when it's price is growing we should hold it assuming it is gold and sell this gold when price is very high.

This thinking of people like yours makes Bitcoin as a profitable assets just like gold. Why should we pay using Bitcoin when it's price is growing we should hold it assuming it is gold and sell this gold when price is very high.

I use Bitcoins as a fiat currency and not holding fully 40% of my bitcoin earning i keep for future investment and balance i convert it to fiat currency to meet may family expenses. and i think how much we use it that much the value of bitcoin will rise

Bitcoin technology is completely implemented in all the technologies even many people are not completely satisfied with bitcoin. Bitcoin prepaid is not an easy task implement because there will be lot of restriction from government. Many governments are keep checking blockchain technology whether it is possible to implement, even many big companies are also keep checking the blockchain technology. But surely one day we here some good news about bitcoin debit cards we have to wait and see.

I hate to see another price fall back anyway, especially when the price is very cheap, it does not help at all for the entire economy of bitcoin, we are slowly rising now and that represents success which we continue to achieve. The success must continue if this is not a manipulated price, I'm positive enough as that is how my investment will grow in the long term.

To be honest it takes skill to obtain this currency with investing so most people would stick to consuming with it. To have an establishment there is much to gain off having physical commerce or even Bitcoin Teller Machines to get this ball rolling in your local area.

Lighten up because the day will bitcoin increasingly popular as more and more people are adopting bitcoin, so it would have started a lot of people, companies, shops and others that will accept bitcoin, so you will be more easily spending bitcoin

It's a good point you make about the manipulated price because that is exactly what happened last time we got up this high so let's hope we don't see anything of that magnitude again.

There has been talk about one or a couple of the bigger miners refusing to sell any coins causing the price to drive up but i don't know hoe much truth the stories have to them because i haven't seen much follow up.

Here in my area, there is no such bitcoin teller machines but the thing is that bitcoin is becoming popular here a little by little. Because exchange sites are allowing us to withdraw our bitcoins through banks ATM when we are converting it to fiat. And with that service, it is just like we are spending bitcoins for real and that's a good help to us and to the economy.

Yes, if we can use bitcoin to buy goods directly it would be nice. Our transaction become more practicaly and faster. There are some online site that accept bitcoin.

But I am not in favour of spending bitcoin especially in present time when the price of bitcoin is increasing rapidly; I think we need to hold bitcoin for some time and we can get a good profit, the price of bicoin is expected to cross all time high price very soon.

The adoption needs to grow, but I think the number of people using Bitcoin is greater than most people think. There are many individuals who use Bitcoin to store value, and this is also a way to adopt Bitcoin. Regarding privacy, there are coins with improvements that allow for more anonymous transactions, but maybe this is possible for the Bitcoin network, via sidechains, in the future.

It have nothing to do with your privacy as long the company you're dealing is trustable and you don't show off your transaction in public nor informing stranger about your transaction that might threatening your privacy
bitcoin is really safe as long no one know what is your address so they can't stalking you
