i just recharge my mobile using bitcoins and no other option is available for me to buy any thing with bitcoin.Most of the retailers dont know about bitcoins.Even if they know, transaction time for bitcoin is more and they may not show interest in accepting bitcoins.

Unfortunately, in my country, too, is almost impossible to buy goods for Bitcoin. But if you try, you can find the necessary shops.

That's a good point about shipping costs that i have often had to think about before making an online purchase.
Living half way across the world from the US and Europe where most goods i want are shipping from ads a large cost to the item, i remember it cost me $37 just for a book from the US once, crazy.

It is unlikely to happen since there are many countries still not consider Bitcoin as a type of currency. I live in a place where it is very easy to find a shop which accept Bitcoin. HOwever, in other places, it seems that Bitcoin is not very popular and it even has some bad reputation because bad people use it to steal money. In general, people still not have some appropriate knowledge about Bitcoin. Therefore, they will choose Fiat to use instead of bitcoin

And the saddest thing about it is when you want a product of a merchant badly but you are not covered by his area with his service, that's disappointing.

You can also shop online with your bitcoins but you will do shopping from only those websites which will act as a third party like purse and shopawl because with that your government will not know that you are using bitcoin for buying that goods.

You can also shop online with your bitcoins but you will do shopping from only those websites which will act as a third party like purse and shopawl because with that your government will not know that you are using bitcoin for buying that goods.

I have some idea about using Bitcoin to buy Gift Card. With gift card, such as Amazon Gift card, you can buy a lot of things online, nearly everything on this planet if you have enough money. And fortunately, you need to pay from 50% to 90% of the value of the cards you want to have.

i do not think that any country has yet banned bitcoin. the facilities of bitcoin to be use as currency are present even in modern countries, i think the only reason is the most of the people do not know about bitcoin mostly the shopkeepers who are mostly illiterate and do not know about computer and internet, i think still it will take some more time when they will learn about bitcoin and after that they will also start accepting bitcoins in their shops.

People are not using bitcoins because they are not aware about it yet and those who are aware are not using it may be they find it difficult to use or have fear of loosing their money in it but those who are actively using bitcoins will definitely prefer to spend their bitcoins either online or offline depending on their needs.

Which country you are from.How about selling your coins to an exchange and transferring the amount to your bank account. I did not know that governments around the world started banning bitcoin,so it does means banning bitcoin exchanges too i guess.Even in my country shops and markets are not accepting bitcoin but i can sell my coins through exchanges.
