Does it works for you guys the openledger platform now? I can't enter in my account, it keeps telling me to create my first account... So how can I access my Cadastrals?
Bogdan, see if you have any button in the top right corner, just left of the "Create Account" Button. I always start looking on the top banner bar to try to get into my OL account. Sorry if this isnt helpful, OL is difficult to say the least I have there the settings button. But I still can't figure out how to enter in my account... Edit: I just saw now on the lower right corner that it's asking me to backup and I am responsible for my own backup. I never did any backup of my wallet, I thought the coins are stored on the openledger... are you kidding me? I switched from Firefox Mozilla to Chrome yesterday, and uninstalled Mozilla. Don't tell me I lost my coins... Bogdan, you mentioned backups and I had actually not backed up my wallet either. This system is incredibly difficult to understand and its NOT at all user friendly. I have preached this for months on all the ANN threads using OL as their main exchange. People just dont want to get involved with something that does not conform to the norm of what a crypto exchange should look and feel like. I am still trying to figure out how you can sign back into your account. Best bet is to look through settings > account tab area... Will let you know if I find anything.

Thanks for help anyway Selsonblue This OL platform is indeed quite complicated ...

Hello everyone,
I just checked the thread, as I have been busy working for the past few days. I had actually assisted someone in recovering their account, and understand the difficulty of it.
This is not without being understood. This is something that anyone who was a participant in the ICO who accidentally shuts themselves out of their account doesn't have to worry, we'll make sure you get whatever you deserve. This is the benefit of working with a closed system for the alpha, because we're working out the kinks and seeing EXACTLY what causes major problems.
Clearly, this can't be something that the "masses" have to do. It's just not going to work.
Again, we're doing a pilot. This is how software development life cycles work. Nothing works 100% first time around.
Don't worry, you won't lose your tokens for good if you can't recover your wallets.
If someone shuts themselves out of an account, they have effectively "burned" the tokens. No harm, no foul as long as they get their tokens back.
Just take it easy. I get it.
Chris

I PERSONALLY believe crypto hasn't crossed the mass adoption threshold because NONE of the interfaces have gotten it right. They are ALL too complicated for mainstream consumption. Please understand we are working on something COMPLETELY different for UX. I am not sure if you saw PokemonGo and how gamification has changed how people are getting out of their houses. I was TRYING to assert my gamification experience much earlier in the thread, but it got side-tracked. "Crypto" is too young to have "traditions", and if anything the ones that exist haven't worked in crossing mass adoption threshold. Steemit is taking off. They are getting something right for sure. OpenLedger has gone from $50k to $200k daily volume since our ICO... They aren't "shrinking". CCEDK has completely relaunched. We are part of an ecosystem. The UX WILL change... You are so early adopters it's not funny. Please understand this. I believe YOU think I am not listening to you about interface because we haven't changed it. I keep trying to tell you I AM 100% listening, and it WILL change. We just have limited resources and time right now, and we have our plan of action trying to get the Kumasi center operational within the next 40 days or less. THEN comes something else even, that I cannot speak about yet Chris

I don't know, but i think openlegder is a really nice system, the only thing which you have to care, is to make and save a backup when you make a new account. And therefore there should be a big fat reminder when you make a new wallet, that makes clear why you need a backup and how the system works. Last time there was at least a box which is telling you to make a backup, but it's obviously not clear for all how important this first step is.

Well, part of the beauty of OpenLedger is that since we are partners, all of the problems expressed by the community are going directly to the top. It may not seem like it, but all of the requests have gone directly to the head developer of OL. He knows the issues, and they have their plans, and will start addressing everything as soon as they have the capacity. They want to please the crowd, but also have to stick to their development schedule. Things are happening all around Cheers! Chris

But the best exchanges to model after are obviously Polo and bittrex. Its basically my comfort zone in crypto trading. When you do start looking for requirements and updates for the OL UX im sure you could crowd source some from the bitland supporters.

Last time there was at least a box which is telling you to make a backup, but it's obviously not clear for all how important this first step is. After your post I studied the OL a little deeper. It seems that without the backup you can't access your account! So I can see all of my Cadastrals but when I want to make something with them, like a trade for example, it asks for my password, ok, I have it, and then it says "Failed to broadcast the transaction: Transaction was not signed. Do you have a private key? [no_signers]" This really beats me... there was never ever a reminder on the platform to do a backup of your account!!! It says in the help section: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/help/introduction/backups that whitout the backup you cannot access your funds again! And let me guess: my account was stored locally in the temp folder from my explorer OMG! Why do I need a web interface like OL platform with an username and a password if I have to create backups of my wallet/account? This OL platform is turning into a nightmare for me...

Bogdan, If you're still logged in on any other computer, you can still make a backup. However I'm pretty sure OL does indeed mention that you'll need to be doing a backup and all that. Hopefully this helps. On a secondary note, I really appreciate how easy openledger is and how the market pegged assets of both Bitshares and OL operate. I think it's a bit ahead of it's time, but maybe I'm wrong. On the over 9000th note, I would say 99% of the Platform that I have ever used required a BACKUP to re-load in your wallet. The notion that this is unique to Openledger is completely wrong. Hoping the best for you. And Bitland.

As I understand you have a wallet and then you can create more than one account in it. And if you make a backup of your wallet then you have all the accounts there. I can make now a backup of the wallet but it's useless since the account that was in the wallet is gone (in fact is there on the OL you can search for "bogdanco24", but I can't access it). I will contact support, maybe there can be done something... Edit: To be clear, I'm using the webwallet, not the one that can be installed locally in my computer.

First off, you're making things up. Second, who are you? Third, do I go to your job and tell you how/what to do? Fourth, if you can find out THAT, you can find out exactly who I am. Fifth, if you think you can come in here and tell us what to do, you're in the wrong place. Sixth, if I was just at a conference presenting with Andreas and John McAfee, and THIS is the first post afterwards, this is why people are moving to Steemit. Seventh, people who want to bring nonsense into this thread will get treated as such. Chris
