hi@all!

i think, i need your help...

don't want to steal your time, so i will keep it short.

possible to mine with gpu, using the latest client?  if not, just type "no" and don't read on  Cheesy

you say it works fantastic without any problems, then please read on.

i can't get this running. i read this thread up and down, my eyes are swollen and i have the feeling to go mad (slow, but steady Grin)
i am not that "one try and good bye give-up guy"! (setting up cpu-miner worked without any issues)
ok, back to "keep it short"

these are my thoughts...
- getwork/stratum problem? maybe gpu-miner doesn't support getwork? (tried different ones) need to run some special software for that?
- using wrong port or wrong nodes? which ports to put in espers.conf and where to point the miner?
my espers.conf looks like this:

listen=1
server=1
port=22448
rpcport=22442
rpcuser=insertfunkyname
rpcpassword=secretone
rpcallowip=localhost
addnode=104.236.150.155:22448
addnode=159.203.24.196:22448
addnode=46.101.188.194:22448
addnode=173.18.196.253:22448
addnode=208.68.36.6:22448
addnode=146.185.153.196:22448
addnode=188.166.155.131:22448
addnode=107.170.212.222:22448
addnode=159.203.12.73:22448

starting miner, getting error message saying sth. like "forgot to set up worker? using wrong port?..."
thank you, software! good that you ask me, if i did sth. wrong. telling me what the problem is...no...would be to easy  Tongue  Cheesy

maybe someone can help with this.

Why swap 10:1 many would like 1000:1 to clean excess zeros?

We had a google hangout meeting to which everyone was invited (it was a few weeks back).
After that meeting the meeting minutes were taken and the team came to a decision based upon community feedback.
As the decisions have already been made and the token swapping we will leave the chain alone as far as the count is concerned.

10:1 was the arbitrary figure used at the time, I remember no other suggestions from the community like 1000:1. I have seen some  concern that even at 10:1 Espers moves away from original intent so maybe more than 10:1 would have been too extreme. Once the development and features put into Espers are realised I think the coin will show its strength

@Everyone

A quick news update. Today we all took it kind of slow and handled quite a few logistical things.
Over the course of the next few days mining will be integrated and then we will move onto messaging. Thank you all who are a part of this project!

OP need sensible creator and corrector.  Roll Eyes

OP will be reworked at some point, currently it get's the job done (defining ESP1 and ESP2 files).
However, it definitely isn't what we want end-game.

@Everyone

A quick news update. Today we all took it kind of slow and handled quite a few logistical things.
Over the course of the next few days mining will be integrated and then we will move onto messaging. Thank you all who are a part of this project!

Smiley We look forward to the future.
nice to hear that we are realy going closer dev, good luck.

Thank you Smiley Just a matter of time.

@Everyone Who has NOT Swapped Yet

Just a reminder that the Deadline is Thursday, 10 NOV 2016 23:00:00  GMT (over a month away)

If it goes unclaimed it will be burned.

We will remind you periodically, and the date is on the OP with the time.

IF for some reason you do not claim it by the deadline i apologize but you will not receive any compensation.

If you send it one minute after the deadline i am sorry. you have been given ample time, DO NOT WAIT TILL LAST MINUTE.

If we receive it before the deadline you will receive your ESP 2.0

I'm not a coder or a tech guy, so I need some help with converting my ESP1 into ESP 2.0.
With the ESP1 wallet i only able to send less then 20,000 ESP1 to Novaexchange, to exchange for ESP 2.0.
And i have 700 millions ESP1 in  my wallet, with this current rate, i need several months or a year to transfer all my ESP1 to Novaexchange.
Plus my ESP1 wallet is also very slow and always crash or stuck.
So when the deadline come i will loss all my ESP1  Sad

Is there a way, the admin can help me to covert all my ESP1 to ESP2?....i can send my wallet.dat backup if that help.
I already PM for help, but not body respond or help.
Hope the admins can help find a way to covert all my ESP1 into ESP2.
I invest a lots into this coins in the beginning, and i don't want to lose my coins when the deadline ended  Sad

At first i was able to send 3 million to Novaexchange.
But then the limit got smaller to 1 million, and then the sending limit got even smaller and smaller after several transactions.
Now my limit got down to 20,000.

With the sending limit getting down after each transactions, this will took me months or year to send all my ESP1 to Novaexchange.
Plus my ESP1 wallet is too slow and always crash or stuck.
There need a better way to exchange my ESP1 to ESP2....i don't want to lose all my ESP1 when the deadline over  Sad

You can try using the commandline client to make a little batch for sending a lot of small amounts.
